Princess Tessia Eralith is the deuteragonist of the fantasy manhwa and light novel series The Beginning After The End. She is the princess of the elven Elenoir Kingdom, daughter of Alduin Eralith and Merial Eralith, and granddaughter of Virion Eralith, the former king of the Elenoir Kingdom. She was rescued by Arthur Leywin, a human boy, at a young age from a group of slave merchants and brought back to her home. Tessia's grandfather welcomed him and decided to make him his successor after witnessing Arthur's unusual potential for his age. Tessia herself becomes the sucessor of Cynthia Goodsky. She later enrolls into Xyrus Academy and becomes the president of their student council.
Appearance[]
When she first met Arthur, Tessia was a frail and petite elven girl with short siver hair, cyan-colored eyes, and sharp ears. She wore torned clothings due to being kidnapped before he original clothings were given back by Arthur after he slaughtered her abusers. She occasionally ties her hair into a few braids right behind her ears. In some appearances, her eyes are depicted as grey.
In her adult years, Tessia has long silver hair and striking green-coored eyes. She is adorned in a detailed red dress with an intricate geometric pattern, paired with a blue robe featuring gold trimming and green accents with a glowing pendant she wears around her neck.
In Volume 7, Tessia's hair is now darker and has vivid blue eyes. She adorns a more militaristic, featuring a red coat with fur lining and intricate straps, and she wields a sword at her side. Her attire is accessorized with gold details and a green gem on her chest.

Tessia was frightened by the time when Arthur rescued Tessia from the bandits. She begged the boy to not go since they are all alone in the forest at night and show her sincere gratitudes for saving her. Due to having spent several days alone with Arthur adventuring in the forest surrounding them, they easily grew close together and growing a strong bond that even appears to be romantic. She expressed her worries for him when she sees him in pain, due to his mana core he possesses. Tessia is very naive, expressing her frustration and disagreement when Arthur adresses her in an unpleasant way and using words she is not familiar with. Naturally, as a ingenuous child, Tessia immediately became obsessed with Sylvie, the pet she found sleepig beside Art at night and begs him to tell her how to communicate and get on good terms with the dragon.
