Tetsuo Daishinji is the blacksmith of the Sword of Logos Northern Base and one of the main protagonists in Kamen Rider Saber. He uses the Onjuuken Suzune and Hanselnuts to Gretel Wonder Ride Book to transform into Kamen Rider Slash.
He is portrayed by Hiroaki Oka.
Biography[]
Tetsuo Daishinji was born of the Daishinji family, a family renowned for their skill as blacksmiths and the ones who forged the Sacred Swords long ago. Keeping with his family's tradition, Daishinji would go on to join Sword of Logos and become the blacksmith for their Northern Base branch.
He at some point fought as Kamen Rider Slash in the past until his Onjuuken Suzune was broken in an unknown fight, forcing Tetsuo to relegate himself to maintaining the Sacred Swords of the other Riders while the repairs to his sword took a lengthy time to complete.
When Saber, Blades and Espada were having trouble with the Ahiru Megid however, Tetsuo finally became Slash and went out into the field again, rescuing the three Riders.
Tetsuo would later clash with Touma Kamiyama, who was seeking to find the traitor within Sword of Logos, thanks to the machinations of Reika Shindai. Reika convinced the Northern Base Riders that Touma had turned traitor, leading them to attack him to take back his Seiken Swordriver. Their attack was interrupted by Yuri, who intervened to take Touma's side, claiming the Sword of Logos had lost its way. After witnessing Touma rescue people from a Megid attack however, Tetsuo began to have doubts about Reika's claims and eventually defected from Sword of Logos to join Touma's side. He was later followed by Ryo Ogami.
The Riders' search to find the traitor in SOL was complicated however when Kento Fukamiya returned as the third Kamen Rider Calibur, having become more disillusioned and seeking to seal the Sacred Swords in order to prevent their power from destroying the world. Kento intervened in the fight between Touma's allies and Reika Shindai, sealing Tetsuo's Sacred Sword much to Tetsuo's despair. Even worst, when Storius and Isaac orchestrated invasion on Northern Base to steal the Northern swordsmen's swords, without Ryoga and Reika knowing, Tetsuo got knocked out and lost his sword alongside the Ikazuchi sword which was on Mei's hand.
After Touma distrupt Isaac's ritual from its completion and save Luna, Tetsuo got his sword and powers back.
