History[]
He is skeptical about the The Cat in the Hat being around the house while the children's mother is out (for good reason, as The Cat is a stranger who enters the house without permission and is, therefore, trespassing). He is also the pet of Sally and Conrad in The Cat in the Hat movie, but as of now he travels with the cat in The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!.
Personality[]
He is shown to be a grumpy, rude, and pessimistic fish who dislikes the idea of The Cat in the Hat coming in his owner's house and tries to get rid of him. Despite being grumpy and rude, he was shown grateful when The Cat cleaned up the house.
