Biography[]

Barry Patrick Allen was a forensic scientist for the Central City Police Department. After his lab was struck by lightning and he was doused with chemicals, he gains the ability to move at superhuman speeds. Originally intending on using his abilities to bring his brother's murderer to justice, he later becomes the hero of Central City known as the Flash.

Time later, his Earth was ravaged by Mar Novu. He tried to warn another heroes and confront him, but he was sent to the Netherverse where Mobius kidnapped him and forced him to run to charge an anti-matter cannon. After the Barry Allen of Earth-1 and some other heroes found him in a cave running, they rescued him. Since the only way to stop the cannon was running backwards, he stole Barry's speed and ran to sacrifice himself, which bought time for the heroes to save the multiverse.

Personality[]

Barry's death saved the life of Earth-1's Flash, erasing the long-existing timeline in which the latter died during the Crisis.

Earth-90 Barry's resemblance to Earth-1 Barry's father, Henry Allen, had caused him to commiserate with Jefferson Pierce on their respective fathers and the legacy it left them with.
