The Goat Children are the supporting antagonists-turned-supporting protagonists of the 2018 Japanese stop-motion short film My Little Goat by Tomoki Misato. They're the children of Mother Goat and they're the brothers and sisters of Natsuki. They were voiced by Kaori Yamashita, Mizuho Misato and Aimi Fukuhara themselves.
Biology[]
Despite their mother's daily warnings, the goat children were deceived by the Big Bad Wolf pretending to be her, and foolishly allowed him entry. All but the youngest Goat child were devoured. Mother Goat arrives home later to be confronted by the unthinkable. She and her youngest son soon find the Wolf. Cutting open his belly to free her children, who are alive, but not unharmed. The poor goat children all are scarred from their sojourn in the wolf's belly. When Natsuki was been sent home, the goat children all call Toruku "Toru-oniichan", 'oni/ani' means elder brother and 'chan' is a term of endearment used for young siblings. Nono and Jog argee that Toruku/Natsuki was their true eldest brother. But Lecon objects that Natsuki wasn't their brother and ask them about the wolf was trying to fool them again. The goat children try to stop Natsuki for leaving the house, but Natsuki found a way out of the window. After look at the mirror in horror, Lecon was look horrible and sobbing to the wall. Lecon couldn't understand how Natsuki's wool looked so beautiful; in fact, they were abused and she later saw how scarred and bruised-up his body really was.
The kids tend to baa in their speech, notably Lecon who talks in a shaky tone compared to the other siblings. The acid inside of the wolf's belly was burning all of their wools and bodies and horrifically scarred to the point that Natsuki is scared of them and one of them breaks down upon seeing her own reflection, but they're not bad at all.
By the short's ending with new animal coats Mother made for them, the children no longer feel ashamed of themselves for being victims of abuse, their injuries healing and just adorable little fluff ball angels.
