~ The Hosts greeting their chosen Hero and informing them about their quest. |
Action, Foresight, and Knowledge, together known as the Hosts, are the overarching protagonists in the action-strategy spinoff, Minecraft Legends.
They are genderless deities who helped shape the Overworld. When the Piglins threatened their peaceful land, the Hosts call upon the bravest and most creative Hero to stop the invasion. During their quest, the Hosts provide tips and resources to assist the Hero in their journey.
Action is voiced by Scarlet Grace, Foresight by Pamela Nomvete, and Knowledge by Elroy Powell.
Personalities[]
The Hosts are respectful, polite, kindhearted, and helpful deities from an unknown origin. They are complete pacifists, meaning that they will never look for a fight or get into one. However, this does not mean that they will sit back and let the Piglins take over the Overworld. They are willing to supply the Hero with everything they need to stop the Piglin invasion, and introduce them to friends who will join the fight.
Action is the most peaceful of the Hosts, and also the most expressive. They care the most about the well-being and safety of the Overworld creatures. After seeing some Villager explore a Piglin outpost and pick up a weapon, Action expresses concern for them, afraid that they might get themselves hurt. When those Villagers bring the weapons to the Hosts, Action is unwilling to let them join the fight.
Foresight is the wisest one of the Hosts, sharing visions with both the Hero and the other Hosts. These visions inform them about what is happening in both the Overworld and Nether, giving the Hero the best chance to attack Piglin bases or befriend useful allies. When some Villagers approach the Hosts willing to fight for their world, Foresight respectfully grants their wish and even suits them up with new uniforms.
Knowledge loves tinkering and creating things. They are the one responsible for creating the Legendary Lute, Banner of Courage, and Flames of Creation, all tools that were incredibly useful for the Hero. Not only do they enjoy creating artifacts, but also buildings such as the Frost Tower and Lightning Rod buildings. Knowledge is a small guy with a big heart, who used his building capabilities to create more Golems to help assist the Hero.
Appearances[]

Foresight, Knowledge, and Action
Action has a wide, golem-like appearance with big arms and somewhat stubby legs in comparison. Their head contains two ears, a single eye, and an unhinged jaw. They wear a brown cloth that covers their stony back and shoulders. Even though they might look big and intimidating, Action has a childlike voice and holds a flower that represents peace.
Foresight is shaped like a smooth, light-purple pillar and has a dark green robe wrapped around. They have four green eyes placed vertically down their head. Despite seemingly having no limbs and mouth, they communicate with a low feminine voice.
Knowledge is a block tall with short limbs. On top of their grayish-blue body, they have a brown hat or hair with a crafting grid printed on top of it. They are commonly seen standing on Action's arm or shoulder. Contrary to their small appearance, Knowledge has a deep, masculine voice.
When the Hosts are in the Overworld, their bodies turn ghostly and light-blue with star-like patterns.
History[]
The Hosts have a mysterious and mostly unknown past. Before the events Minecraft Legends, the Hosts built, or at least helped create the Overworld, a place of peace and tranquility. During this time, the Hosts would form a special bond between them and the native creatures. Knowledge would construct buildings such as the Lightning Rod Towers to help prevent forest fires.
When the first Piglins begin invading the Overworld, Foresight senses the beginning of a violent conflict. Gathering Action and Knowledge, they head into the Overworld to witness the terrible scene before them. Distraught by the violence, they head back into the Well of Fate. There, they search for the most courageous and creative Hero they could find, informing them about monsters polluting the Overworld. Once the Hero willingly accepts their quest, the Hosts transports them into the Well of Fate, where they gift the Hero different artifacts to use in their journey. These tools include the Legendary Lute, an instrument which allows the user to control two Allays, and the Flames of Creation, an artifact use to summon Golems to fight by their side.
The Hero sets off on their quest. The Hosts guide the Hero every step of the way, leading them to villages in order to defeat the raiding Piglins and destroying their outposts in order to prevent the pollution. Knowledge would create two new golems specifically to help the Hero in their quest. During this, the Hosts sense the native zombies, creepers, and skeletons' homes being raided by the Piglins. Once the Hero successfully deters the invaders, the Hosts proudly announce the mobs' new alliance with the Hero.
After sensing some Villagers leaving home and picking up weapons, Action was very concerned about them joining the fight. When the Villagers bring the scraps to the Hosts, Action is hesitant to let them participate in the war. However, Foresight decides to respect their decision, giving them new gear while Action and Knowledge to craft them axes. Action hesitantly gives the new weapon to the Villagers, who determinely pick it up, enthusiastic about joining the fight.
With these new allied mobs, the Hero is able to defeat the Beast, the Devourer, and the Unbreakable, including their three bases. Their leader, the Great Hog, is furious. Enchanting his staff and absorbing a Nether Portal, he directly attacks the Well of Fate with everything he has. However, with the Hosts' guidance, the Hero was able to defeat the Great Hog, restoring peace in the Overworld.
With the Piglin war being over, the Hosts realize that they are not needed anymore. Bidding farewell to the Hero and wishing them the best of luck, they get whisked away, starting their own adventure on the countless worlds waiting to be explored.
