The Musketeers

The Musketeers are supporting characters in the AvM Shorts, serving as major characters in Season 3 and minor characters in Season 4.

Those three Villagers are a Fisherman, Shepherd and Farmer trio that cross paths with Yellow and Blue and team up with them to protect their village from various threats.

History[]

Season 3[]

"Titan Ravager"[]

As Yellow and Blue are trying to find a way to get back into the Nether without crossing paths with the Piglin Brute army, they come across the Shepherd, who calls them for help. He brings the duo the panicking Fisherman and Farmer, who lead them to a village. They explain how they once had plenty of crops, but the arrival of a beast made them lose it all. They angrily tell the stick figures to do something, but a Fletcher arrives to tell them more bad news. He leads the five to a village where all the animals have been eaten by the beast. As they hear a roar, the Three Villagers panic and see that their homes have been destroyed, mourning them. After hearing a second roar, Yellow and Blue go to confront the beast - a gigantic version of the normal Ravager mob - and leave the trio to their fate.

A few minutes later, the trio is one of the many Villagers to witness Blue and Yellow feeding the beast. Once Blue has to work incredibly fast to satisfy the Ravager, the trio, as well as the Fletcher, arrive to help him by planting some food themselves. This inspires the other Villagers to help, until the Titan Ravager has been fed and leaves. However, just as they celebrate their victory, the Titan Ravager brings its family. While the bigger Ravager is satisfied with the food being given by the machine, the youngest one prefers to eat living beings. It throws two Villagers into the air, and just as it's about to feed on them, both it and the bigger Ravager are killed, while the original Titan escapes in fear. Their killer is revealed to be King Orange, a malicious monarch that is responsible for Yellow and Blue fleeing the Nether and encountering the Villagers - However, they aren't aware of his true nature, and start praising him for what he has done, the Fisherman even bowing down. The trio then waves goodbye to Blue, Yellow and Orange as they walk through a Nether portal.

"The Raid"[]

Following a war against King Orange and his right hand man Purple, Yellow and Blue escape back into the village to get away from danger. However, they see that it has been raided by Illagers, who arrest them. In their cage, they reunite with all the Villagers they helped. Yellow shows them a command block - which he stole from King Orange - the Fletcher brings in an Armorer and a Weaponsmith, who recognize the block and know what to do with it. While they and the Fletcher lead Yellow away, Blue starts an uprising and commands the remaining Villagers to dig. Using the resources he's been given, Blue crafts pickaxes to make them dig better material so he can craft weapons. Having finally crafted a sword, Blue asks which Villagers are brave enough to fight back - Only the Fisherman, Farmer and Shepherd accept the offer. After enough time and training, all three of them get to wield diamond swords. After that, Yellow arrives with his own staff, created by the Weaponsmith and enchanted by the Armorer. With a command block equipped on it, Yellow gives the trio a few status effects and musketeer hats as a reference to the Three Musketeers.

Following this, Blue and the Three Villagers begin fighting back against the Villagers, while Yellow and the Fletcher escape the village to find a stronger ally. After defeating all the Pillagers and Vindicators, they have to face off against the Evoker and Illusioner, who quickly defeat all four of the heroes. As the Illusioner prepares to kill Blue, he's interrupted by a roar - Yellow and the Fletcher have succeeded in taming the Titan Ravager, promising it revenge against King Orange. The beast's presence is enough to scare away all the Illagers. After celebrating their victory and saying their goodbyes, Yellow, Blue and the Titan Ravager leave the village once again to find and defeat King Orange.

"The King"[]

They make a minor cameo when the Nether portal to their world is absorbed by King Orange's black hole, with them being sucked into it, and appear for a split second once the Second Coming manages to save all of Minecraft and destroy the black hole, being sucked back into the Nether portal. They return in the credits fighting the Witch alongside the Fletcher and the Titan Ravager's newly resurrected family, proving they continue to rescue their village from threats.

Season 4[]

"The Chef"[]

The Stick Gang decides to revisit the Titan Ravager Village after finding out Blue got a recipe for ramen noodles while starting an uprising against the Illagers. While the Fisherman and Farmer are fighting in the background, Blue confronts the Shepherd and acts for where he can get more recipes. He, just like other Villagers, points towards the Chef's house.

Trivia[]

They are a reference to the Three Musketeers, which is seen once Yellow gives them musketeer hats.
According to Alan Becker, the Muskeeters were the ones who trained the Chef into being an expert fighter.
