Theodore Noise, best known as simply The Noise, is the secondary antagonist of 2023 video game Pizza Tower and the titular main protagonist of the game's Noise Update. He is a famous TV star and newscaster, as well as Peppino's arch-rival.
Appearance[]
To highlight his child-like nature, The Noise is of a small stature, with a gaping mouth, a singular tooth, and a circling moustache. For clothing, he wears a yellow "onesie" and a pale brown cape, as well as what seems to be a chef's hat.
Biography[]
Noise was a character that served as the rival of Peppino and became a famous television star. Later on, he met Pizzahead who is leader of titular Pizza Tower and wanted to take down Peppino's Pizza for his own amusement, and the Noise assisted him to defeat Peppino.
Peppino had to give Mr. Stick $200, The Noise's boss gate appears, tried leading to his studio where the battle is being filmed. When entering it, Noise wears a mask of an Angry Peppino, scaring the real Peppino before he then discards it and laughs to himself. The Noise proceeds to attack Peppino, and the only way to hurt him is to wait form to taunt Peppino, leaving him vulnerable for a short while. After his last hit point is depleted, the Noise conjures a gatling gun to shoot Peppino, only for Noisette to appear and drag him away, causing the Noise to scream in defeat.
In the Slums and Staff Only sections of the tower, the Noise can be seen smoking a cigarette and riding on a washing machine for both respective areas and is unable to be interacted with. He is then later summoned by Pizzahead during the final boss fight alongside the other three bosses in a boss rush, attempting to take down Peppino again. Due to Peppino being enraged at this point on all that he had to go through, easily pummels the Noise into submission and defeats Pizzahead afterwards. In the level, "The Crumbling Tower of Pizza," he is among the major characters to be rescued by Peppino and escape the Pizza Tower.
He holds a truce with Peppino who offers him pizza at his pizzeria, and the Noise is seen talking to Pepperman and the Vigilante there afterwards in the ending. During the credits sequence, the Noise would eventually grow his fame and fortune by starring in movies and selling personalize merchandise.
Inspired by Peppino's journey through the Pizza Tower, the Noise decides to produce a movie based on that to steal his credit, hiring the other four bosses to act. (Maurice as Peppino and an unknown extra as Gustavo in Swap Mode) The events in his movie is nearly identical to Peppino's, other than his boss fight being replaced by a doppelgänger called the Doise. He then has a final confrontation against Pizzahead, transforming into Super Noise to plow down on the bosses and take down the former with a giant bomb. He then goes through his own version of "The Crumbling Tower of Pizza," only saving Noisette a Noisey, and a bucket, while knocking out the other characters along the way. With his movie complete, he pays the other characters and leaves with Noisette to rest.
