The Hidden Path, more commonly referred to as just the Path was an underground movement opposed to the Galactic Empire introduced in the Disney+ television series Obi-Wan Kenobi.
A precursor to the Rebel Alliance, the Path was founded sometime prior to nine years before the Battle of Yavin. The Path was focused on helping those Jedi who survived Order 66 and subsequent purge as well as other Force-sensitives reach safety as the Empire was hunting down those who could touch the Force to either kill them or turn them to the dark side of the Force, and recruit them into the Inquisitorius to hunt down even more fellow Force sensitives.
Kawlan Roken was one of the founders of the Path after his Force sensitive wife was murdered by the Empire, and served as one of its leaders. Disillusioned Imperial officer Tala Durith joined the network as well, and remained undercover as an Imperial officer - using her access and rank to help Force sensitives escape to safety. The Jedi Quinlan Vos also helped the Path with their efforts from time to time.
The Path operated a number of safe houses throughout the galaxy on worlds such as Daiyu, Mapuzo, and Jabiim. Agents such as Haja Estree helped arrange passage for people to safeworlds like Corellia through their network, arranging for people to receive new identities in the process.
In 9 BBY, the Path helped Obi-Wan Kenobi get the young Princess Leia Organa to safety when she was kidnapped as part of a plot by Imperial Inquisitors to draw out Obi-Wan Kenobi. When the Third Sister managed to capture Leia, the Path helped Obi-Wan rescue the young Princess from Fortress Inquisitorius. Pilots Wade Resselian and Sully Stark used T-47 airspeeders to pick up Obi-Wan, Tala, and Leia. Resselian sacrificed himself to buy the others time to escape.
Due to the Empire putting a tracker on Leia's droid L0-LA59, Darth Vader was able to track Obi-Wan, Leia, Tala, and other members of the Path to Jabiim. Using his personal knowledge of Vader's flaws, Obi-Wan was able to put together a plan that exploited Vader's impatience and overriding desire to win to allow a large number of the Path to escape from Jabiim. Tala sacrificed herself to save the other members of the Path, who left Jabiim with the Empire in hot pursuit.
Having a hunch that Darth Vader was still monomaniacally obsessed with him and would abandon his pursuit of the Path, Obi-Wan took off on a small drop ship. Obi-Wan's hunch proved correct, his former apprentice ordered the Imperial-I class Star Destroyer Devastator to pursue Obi-Wan, even though it meant the members of the Path would escape. Obi-Wan's diversionary tactics allowed the members of the Path to reach safety, and for Haja Estree to return Princess Leia to her home on Alderaan.
