They are also shown to be very smart as they were able to track Willow's hideout and were able to solve every case they were ggiven. They're also very caring as the promised Georgie they would find the person who hurt his family.

They also felt sympathetic for Willow due to her poor live and even explained it to Doggy how it didn’t feel right of what they were doing. They had also helped most of the TSP members despite what they had done to them. This, moreover, shows that the Player is willing to save others despite their behaviour.

However, they can get impatient due to Pony giving him and Doggy the potion. They did, however, say they were still friends but didn't forgive him.

Synopsis[]

Backstory[]

Player has joined the Lucella Police Department as an officer and detective. Their comrades, Doggy and Poley were also enrolled and accepted into the police force at some point, and they helped Player with some duties. Player then proved their efficiency at their job by solving nearly every case they worked on, even prompting Doggy to write a note to the chief asking for Player to get promoted.

Hunt For Willow[]

Doggy and Player have been searching and researching on Willow's last location to find out where she is and arrest her for robbing supplies (namely, a pie, as confirmed in the heist). Player comes to the hypothesis that she's at the alleys, the location of where her parents were arrested. Rash, Willow's partner in crime, started to defend their hideout, confirming Player's theory. After Player and Doggy reach Willow's hideout, Doggy started to confront Willow who justified herself by saying that she was only stealing to feed her family. Doggy understands her situation, but arrests her regardless. Unbeknownst to the duo, Rash was approaching them from behind, ready to attack them, but Willow stops him by saying it's not worth it. Doggy and Player take them away. Player, reluctant and regretful at their decision, asks if there wasn't anything they could do about it, to which Doggy reminded Player that "they do things because they have to, not because they want to."

Before the events of Book 1, there was a reported robbery at the gallery at some point, it involved Doggy too. Not much is known about this but after the robbery, the gallery closed for some time.

Chapter 4: The Safe Place[]

After the events of Refinery, an infected had broke into the Safe Place and the group had to flee the safe house. Along with that, there were broken shatters of glasses and a boom sound coming from outside. When they escaped, they were surrounded by T.S.P. and were taken to the Factory as prisoners.

Chapter 5: Sewers[]

Zee and Zuzy come out of a manhole to get someone to help them get the door open, which Player volunteers to do. After going through the Sewers and escaping Alfis, Player unlocks the door to the cell. Unfortunately, Willow sees this, and tries to shoot Pony. Giraffy takes the hit for Pony, which causes Player to challenge Willow to a fight. Willow agrees.

Chapter 6: Factory[]

While most of the group brings Giraffy to safety, Pony and Player stay behind to fight against Willow. Player tries to find Wooden Swords for Pony to use as weapons while having the option to save some trapped T.S.P members, which determines the ending. If no T.S.P. members are saved, Player is shot and killed by Willow and Player dies, though this ending is non-canon. If some are saved, then Player remains alive. Willow attempts to shoot Player but then feels sorry for her actions upon seeing Zee and Zuzy. She offers to assist the group in curing Zizzy by moving north. They accept this offer.

Hunt for the Cure[]

Chapter 7: Port[]

After the events from the Factory, Player along with the Safe Place and Willow go to a port only to realize Willow's boat was stolen by Tigry first, then Pony says there might be another way to get across the North Sea. After escaping Dakoda and fixing the lighthouse, a ship named the Medora is lured to light and thus the members hop aboard the ship. There, they meet a pirate captain named Budgey who also mentions her infected crew during her introduction. Willow then requests Budgey to take the group across the North Sea, but the ship doesn't have enough fuel to do that, so Player and Willow state to go find the fuel.

Chapter 8: Ship[]

Budgey unseals the ship for Player and Willow to fetch in the cargo bay. The player proceeds to try their hardest work by outsmarting Archie alongside three other crewmates trying to get to the bottom with some help from Willow as well. Once the Player unlocks the metal crate to the fuel, they and Willow go inside. Unfortunately, one of the crewmates appears behind them, and the door shuts on them. Willow tries to open it, but it didn't budge at all. The Player concludes that they may be stuck in the crate for a while, so they should get to know each other. Willow denies the offer, and the Player can tell that Willow is still angry at them. The Player tells Willow that they were doing their job all those years ago when arresting her. The two get into an argument, but Pony, Georgie, Zee, and Zuzy manage to find them, and open the crate. They take the fuel back to Budgey and realize they have already arrived at an unknown location.

Chapter 9: Docks[]

The Safe Place, all but Giraffy, and Willow enter the docks of Doveport, and Budgey wishes them good luck on their journey. The group then realizes Tigry had made it before them. Pony goes with Player to escape the Docks. After they both leave, unscathed, The Player meets Tigry once again, and they have a talk. Tigry says that Player should ditch Willow, but Player doesn't accept his offer. Tigry then walks off, saying that his offer still stands. Pony arrives and after a talk with Player, they get the others to the surface, the group finds Robby, and meets Kona. Mimi, who recognizes Kona, is happy to see each other, and Kona introduces himself to the others. After a chat about how the group is looking for the cure, Kona tells them that they can escape through his Lab. The Player decides to be the one to go, and Kona tells Robby to accompany them while down there.

Chapter 10: Temple[]

After meeting with Kona, the Player and Robby head under Kona's base to escape and let the others in. Upon entering, the two meet an infected spider named, Spidella, who chases them around.

After escaping, the Player suddenly says that they "feel off", and they are sent into a strange, dark dimension. They look around, fearfully, until they see Bunny. Zizzy and Doggy also appear behind the Player, and they deny that she's real. They demand the hallucinations to get out of their head, so they disappear, but a large figure emerges out of thin air and asks them if the Player is sure that they are tired of the tricks. The Player asks who they are, but the man dodges the question, asking the Player if they remember being at the School and the Plant. The Player then questions the man if that was him making all the hallucinations, and he confirms it. He tells the Player that he's been fascinated by them and that he's been watching them. After calling them unique, the Player retorts, saying that the man should see himself and that the Player is just an ordinary person in this messed up world. The man disagrees with the Player, stating that they have a gift, and finally telling the Player that they can't get infected. He comes to the conclusion that the Player can do extraordinary things, and he asks the Player to join him. The Player strongly declines the offer, saying that they will never fall for any more tricks that the man has, and he becomes agitated with the Player. He tells the Player that if they will not join, then they shall stay out of his way, and not continue down the path that they're following currently. The Player, now furious with the man, shouts to leave them alone, and they try to punch him, but the hallucination ends, leading the Player to almost punch Pony. Willow make fun of the Player for the "act", but Pony asks them if they've seen the man. The Player asks who he is, but Pony has no answer to the question. He tells the Player that he met him when he was working with T.S.P., and Willow tells Pony to tell the Player what he did. Pony argues with Willow, saying now is not the time, and Mimi breaks the argument. She says that they've come so far now, and they can't be breaking up. Robby tries to take the children back with him to Kona for their safety, but Georgie doesn't want to go, saying that he's been in dangerous situations before and that his family would've wanted him to stay and find the cure. The twins also agree, saying that they've got a big sister to save. Mimi hesitates on bringing them along, but the group tells her that it'll be okay. Suddenly from the radio, Kona can be heard telling the group that the Outpost ahead has been acting really strange and that they have to be careful.

Chapter 11: Camp[]

The group heads into the Camp, and the Player, Pony, and Willow all fend off the infected soldiers and figure out a way to get the camp's elevator unlocked. Once they get the elevator opened, Pony takes the Player aside, while the others wait for them. The Player asks Pony what he wanted to talk about, and Pony reveals that he was the one who infected Doggy in the Forest. The Player is taken aback, and Pony says that he had no other choice, and Willow made him do it. He said he wasn't proud of it, but the Player lashes out at Pony, telling him that they trusted him. Pony tries to apologize, but the Player wants to know if he'll just do it again. Georgie then goes up to the Player, giving them the advice that they themself told Georgie back at the Plant, and the Player calms down. The Player tells Pony that they can't forgive him, but they can stay friends, and Pony thanks the Player profusely. The Player then sees Willow looking at something, sadly and the Player asks her what it is. Willow, then quickly looks away, saying that it is nothing. Finally, the group enters the elevator, and down into the lab. Pony decides that they should split up, and Mimi agrees, taking the kids down one path. Pony goes by himself down a different path, and the Player and Willow find Tigry about to set a stick of explosive dynamite down another. Willow and Tigry later argue about the past, with Tigry explaining all the bad things Willow has done to him, and they later get into a fight. The dynamite Tigry set exploded, the pipes fell to the ground, trapping Player. Behind a door, a shadow silhouette appears, leaving the Player vulnerable.

Chapter 12: Lab[]

After finally making it to the Lab, it all came down to this. A distorted Penny seems to have appeared, becoming this way by losing some ink on her body and getting controlled by TIO. As she chases Player around the map, they power on the reactor and open the exit. After they are about to go through, the Player sees Willow and Tigry in front of the cure arguing. The Player tries to stop Willow from hurting Tigry, and Tigry tells Willow that they're alike, and how she listened to his problems before. He tells her that he wishes they could go back to that time, and Mimi appears behind the Player interrupting them, saying that there is a helicopter outside.

Hidden Ending[]

Everyone regroups outside, and they see a rather large helicopter land in front of them. When it opens, a mole named Monroe appears, alongside a mouse and a bear. Pony tells him that they have the cure, and Monroe says that it's a shame that Outpost Echo was the one that was wiped out. Suddenly, the ground starts shaking, and a bunch of orange-eyed infected emerge from the snow. Monroe commands his soldiers to ready their weapons, but then, the Player, Pony, Georgie, and Zee are taken into their memories. The man from earlier stands in front of the Player, and he tells them that he is disappointed with them. He reveals his name to be TIO to them, yet it's not his actual name. The Player did not take his warning of stopping their journey, so TIO transforms into his distorted appearance. The Player hears Pony in his memories, and they unlock various puzzles from their previous adventures, until reaching a dark maze. He helps the others defeat their memories, and the Player realizes that if this is all in their head, then they can use the memories to their advantage. The Player then comes across hallucinations of Doggy, Bunny, and Zizzy, and once they are given their required weapons, they help the Player in taking TIO down.

Defeating TIO[]

After the memories all take a swing at TIO, he sinks into the ground, yelling at the Player, and calling them a buffoon. The hallucination ends, and it turns out that Monroe's soldiers have taken out all the infected. Willow and Tigry have a talk about how she mistreated Tigry, and they are now both on good terms. They then make the final decision of leaving the group to venture out on their own together. The Player and the group say their final goodbyes to Willow and Tigry, before leaving with Monroe, and heading back to Lucella to pick up Giraffy.

Unknown Threat[]

After getting a fully healed Giraffy from T.S.P., the group heads back to Kona's base in Doveport, and they decide to stay there. Pony, the Player, and a seemingly cured Zizzy are seen at Kona's desk. Pony is reading the newspaper, and he comments on the overpriced carrots. "Zizzy" then asks Pony why he can't just make a farm of carrots, and Pony says that the price isn't so bad after all. It is then revealed that something is watching the group through a hidden Insolence wall.

Trivia[]

  • They're the only known human ever seen in the Piggy game.
    • However, it's not clear if the Piggy x Metallica event is canon.
  • In the Alleys, it's revealed the Player is a detective. However, the Player is shown driving a police car and even being mentioned as an officer by Willow.
    • It's possible that they might've been promoted as a police officer due to them solving many cases.
  • If the Player is immune to the Infection, it's unknown why they hadn't told the other members or the Military.
    • It's possible that due to the group giving the cure to the Military, they were able to reproduce it.
