The unnamed protagonist is the protagonist of the 2025 indie strategy arcade game Nubby's Number Factory. They are a factory worker at the titular number manufacturer who is in charge of creating numbers and preventing the sun from exploding.

Overview

The protagonist's primary goal is to create numbers via launching the factory's mascot, Nubby, at the number pegs. Nubby is able to bounce off of pegs, popping them in the process and adding to your score which is needed to keep the aforementioned sun from exploding. He can achieve more pegs popped by gaining items from the Shop, Cafe, and Black Market. These items are very powerful, ranging from Electric Sockets and 3-D Glasses to Aliens and "All-Seeing Eyes".

All the items the protagonist purchases help Nubby achieve the factory's goal of making numbers bigger and bigger, as the numbers get bigger they make their way from the Factory, to the Stratosphere, to The Moon, to The Sun Temple, and in endless, The Universe.

Trivia

• The protagonist is the only character who has no semblance of a personality or any information regarding them outside of their job, although MogDogBlog Productions has announced that there will be a lore section in an upcoming update, possibly telling us something about our unseen player character.
