The Theets are a group of humanoid beings who first appear in Princess Peach: Showtime! They run the Sparkle Theater and strive to make the experience of the audience as enjoyable as they possibly can. They end up trapped inside the Sparkle Theater when Madame Grape and the Sour Bunch arrive and mess everything up for them, and they turn to Princess Peach and Stella for help to get things back to normal.
Theets have yellow-colored bodies and they each wear a variety of clothing depending on the play's theme they are featured in. They also have large noses that change color depending on their current mood, yellow when they are happy, blue when they are sad, or red when they are angry.
History[]
Theets serve as the cast and crew of various performances at the Sparkle Theater and will help Princess Peach and Stella throughout the game. Many Theets will struggle to keep each play going as they face resistance from members of the Sour Bunch. Helping them or other Theets in trouble will reward Peach with Sparkle Gems or Coins which can be used at the theater lobby. A balloon Theet will sometimes appear during plays that can net Peach a number of Sparkle Coins or a Heart depending on when she pops the balloon it holds. In every level, Peach can also find a mustached Theet called Ribboner in some sort of trouble and helping him will earn the princess a ribbon that unlocks a new outfit cosmetic for her or Stella to wear. After completing the game once, Hide-and-Seek Theets will appear in each level that Princess Peach will be task to find.
Sparklas[]
Sparklas are Theets that play the starring roles in different shows and have been imprisoned by the Sour Bunch in Sparkle Theater's basement. Princess Peach must fulfill their roles in each performance until she earns a Sparkla's Spirit which unlocks the special acts they are trapped in. Rescuing all Sparklas is required to make Madame Grape's boss door appear and they will help Peach transform into Radiant Peach to open the door.
