The Thirteen Primes are a group of heroic characters in the Transformers franchise. They are said to be the creations/children of Primus, and original rulers of Cybertron.
In most of incarnations; The Fallen, Liege Maximo, and Nova Prime are potrait as main villains. With a few exceptions, where they are potrait as protagonist supporters.
Personality[]
In the original universe, most of them are potrait as an honorable, compassionate, and wise natures. Liege Maximo is mostly evil in every incarnations, due to being born from darkness. Megatronus despite being a ruthless and sadistic Prime, he shares some romantic relationship with Solus Prime. Suggest that Megatronus wasn't completely irredemable, thus shares some sympathetic qualities prior being corrupt by Liege Maximo and Unicron. Nova Prime is the unique ones, he originally Major Nova whom wants nothing but serves the Primes. After rechieved his title being a Prime, Nova Prime wants ruling other planets with tyrannical ways. This making him slowly corrupt into darkside named Nemesis Prime. Alpha Trion, who is one of the oldest Primes, has a paternal instinct towards Orion Pax. Such as bring back mortally wounded Orion Pax, by reformatted him into the heroic Optimus Prime.
In the Shattered Glass universe, however, Alpha Trion and Solus Prime are potrait as malevolent characters, when it compared to their counterparts from original universe. In addition to these, Megatronus and Liege Maximo never corrupt into darkside, instead the two are potrait as an noble-hearted figures that oppose against the two traitors. Similary to original universe, Solus Prime used to shares her romantic relationship with Megatronus Prime prior being corrupt by the treacherous Alpha Trion. Alpha Trion also reformatting Orion Pax into an evil Optimus Prime, while promoting his thoughts to Optimus Prime by thinking that D-16 only considered him as his pawn. Alpha Trion also has loyal to a fault with Dark Primus, and responsible causing a civil war between Primes.
History[]
The first thirteen Transformers, known as the Thirteen Primes, were created by the god-like entity Primus to help fight against the Chaos Bringer, Unicron. These powerful, god-like beings established the foundations of Cybertronian civilization and possessed unique abilities, artifacts, and roles within the new universe. Their conflicts ultimately led to their dispersal, but their lineage and the relics they left behind continue to influence Cybertronian history, paving the way for the Autobots and new Primes like Optimus Prime.

- In Shattered Glass Transformers, instead of being his own individual. Nova Prime is a reformed version of evil Optimus Prime, after his sanity was restored by Unicron.
- In the Bayverse continuity, they are all unnames except for Megatronus Prime/The Fallen. Depending on the source, they are potrait as the Thirteen in the expanded media.
- In the Transformers One continuity, they all (with exception for Sentinel the fake Prime) depicted as an honorable figures in the past without any sibling conflict.
