The Thoha Tribe were a race of Chozo who had settled and colonized on Planet SR388 which they call home. In a stark contrast to the Mawkin Tribe, who never gave up their warrior ways, the Thoha Tribe were a peaceful race of Chozo who were dedicated to science, research and technology.
History[]
Little is known of the Thoha's early origins, but what is known is that the Thoha have left their traditional warrior ways and resolved to lead a pacifistic movement and turned their attention to science. After a young Samus Aran was orphaned by the Space Pirates lead by Ridley, they retrieved her and transfused their DNA into her. Raven Beak, a Mawkin Chozo, had also donated his DNA to her, which he considers her to be his own daughter.
The known recorded history of Thoha took place when they decided to settle on Planet SR388 where several faculties were constructed so they can study Aeion energies and natural wildlife that lived there. With the help of the Mawkin, tunnels were carved to find off wildlife, but as they did, they came across the dangerous X-Parasites which they have no means of dealing with them, not even the Mawkin could help with the situation with their technology. Desperate to find a solution, Thoha scientists like Quiet Robe resort to creating the Metroids to prey on the X-Parasites and as a failsafe, they programmed them to be docile only around those possessing Thoha genes and the Metroids have managed to eliminate most of the X, which was a success as they were able to delve deeper than they ever could.
During their expedition, they gained access to more Aeion energy. However, it has an adverse side-effect of the Metroids metamorphosizing past their larval stage to which they went completely rogue, not even heeding to the Thoha, and attacked them. Both tribes were forced to escape through the caverns while containing the now dangerous Metroids. There were many casualties amongst both Thoha and Mawkin, but the survivors managed to escape safely to the surface. Things go from bad to worse for the Thoha after they proposed to have SR388 completely destroyed to eradicate both the X and the Metroids altogether, as they deem it uninhabitable for life because of the hostile life forms.
It was then that Raven Beak, who had an obsession with power and saw the sheer power that the Metroids present, ordered his soldiers to wipe out the entire Thoha Tribe in cold blood. Quiet Robe is the only one who is spared the execution that his fellow members suffered as Raven Beak needed a living Thoha to control the Metroids and taken to Planet ZDR where Raven Beak would begin the next step of his plan for galactic domination.
Quiet Robe was forced to endure the horrific X epidemic that was affecting the Mawkin after one of the soldiers was found to have been disguised as one, as well as being forced to create bioweapons for the Mawking and reprogramming the E.M.M.I. robots sent by the Galactic Federation to investigate a live X from the video footage. He would later be killed by a Robot Chozo Warrior after he shared vital information to Samus Aran, regarding his history and Raven Beak's ambitions. His deceased body was later infected with a red X, and it would much later reappear to Samus to stabilize her Metroid powers, after it spiraled out of control during her battle against Raven Beak and found herself unable to pilot her Gunship due to the risk of draining it of energy. Quiet Robe X's willful absorption allows Samus to escape ZDR before it exploded.

- It is strongly implied that Gray Voice was a member of this tribe as he was one of the known Chozo to have overseen Samus's transfusion in the manga.
