Thomas Andre is a major supporting character and a former major antagonist in the Korean fantasy manhwa and light novel series Solo Leveling. He is one of the Five National Level Hunters, holding the first spot in the world and top hunter in America. He is also the guildmaster of Scavenger Guild in America. He initially held grudge for S-Rank hunter Sung Jinwoo for killing one his guild member, Hwang Dongsoo, as the latter tortured his best friend Yoo Jinho because his Hwang's younger brother died at Jinwoo's hand not so long ago in the past.
Appearance[]
Thomas is fearsome towering and muscular middle-aged man with long blond brown hair, a beard at his chin, a pair of red eyes, which emit a yellow color along with veins of golden colors emerging near his eyes and head when his powers are being used, as a sign that he can be on the verge of using his spiritual body transformation. His body is covered with black tattoos. On casual occasions, Thomas loves wearing a beach outfit comprised of a Hawaiian shirt, a pair of sunglasses, shorts, and a pair of sandals.
While on his duties as a hunter, due to his muscular build and large size, it is virtually unnecessary for him to wear any cloth over his torso, he can be only seen wearing black pants.
Spiritual Body Manifestation[]
Thomas can transform into a towering glowing tan-colored intimidating golem with scales all of his body and glowing eyes around his torso. His head is completely covered by his manifestation form, having no visible mouth, a pair of golden glowing eyse, two pair of black horns around his head, and golden hair floating upward.
Personality[]
Thomas is a carefree and arrogant man who takes high pride on his extensive ability as the top hunter on the planet. He cares about his guildmates, including Hwang Dongsuk, willingly to save him and avenge his death regardless of knowing that Dongsoo was a homicidal murderer. Thomas exhibits intolerance towards insubordination, evident in his confrontation with Dongsoo, and frustration towards Jinwoo's refusal to spare Dongsoo despite his crimes against Jinho. Yet, in defeat, Thomas displays remarkable grace, harboring no resentment towards Jinwoo despite their intense battle. He abhors being indebted to others and strives to settle debts, exemplified by his journey to Korea to treat Jinwoo to a meal and present Kamish's Wrath as recompense for sparing his comrades' lives.
