~ Thrúd to Atreus. |
Thrúd is a supporting character in the 2022 action-adventure game God of War Ragnarök. She is the Norse Aesir goddess of Strength, the daughter of Thor and Sif and the sister of Magni and Modi.
The youngest of the Aesir gods, she grew up in the shadow of her cruel siblings but stood apart from her peers by her caring nature and more noble goals. Thrúd was a powerful warrior eager to prove her worth to Odin, but she never stepped aside from achieving her primary goal: becoming a Valkyrie.
The goddess was a glimmer of hope in a cruel family marked by the madness of her grandfather and the atrocities committed by her own father in the name of the Aesir. Thrúd sought to make her parents proud of her and would play a crucial role in bringing peace back in the Nine Realms.
After Ragnarok, Thrud went to Alfheim and discovered Mjolnir (her father's hammer).
She is portrayed by Mina Sundwall. In the Japanese dub of the game, she is voiced by Nanako Mori.
