  • I have deleted Ms Hoover over 6 times by now, the issue being she is neither a heroine nor does the article ever list any actual heroic deeds. When the highlight of the page is, "she told Lisa she could get a glass of water one time", that is not heroics. In general we can not put up background characters with no heroic deeds on this wiki. This is not a fan-fiction site, we don't display articles because you like a character, we do it to list deeds of heroes and heroines. Having folks like Ms.Hoover and Helen Lovejoy and Joyce Kinney and generic neighbor C-819 are not acceptable. Now you did not remake Hoover last time but this comes up a lot with your articles. So considers this a minor intervention. Characters on this site need to do heroic things, saying "She/He is nice and has pretty hair/" Is not acceptable, list how they are nice, give their goals, the evils they fight, who they have saved. If you can not come up with one person they legitimately saved, your article consists mostly of a gallery and your background info on the character goes into purely how they look, then they are not the sort of character we can validate as a hero/heroine.

    • If there must be these laws and the directors must act like dictators, I quit, this is a stupid Wikipedia.

    • I can return but only if I can put Lindsey Naegle, only her, she is an anti-hero, like more others in The Simpsons series, this is the only page I ask that there is, please, in return I'll do whatever you want.

    • What heroic deeds does she preform?

    • she attempted to defend the dogs from Mr. Burns, she has proven to be a quiet and serene woman after her redemption, she was a good friend with Marge, Helen, Cookie, etc., to be heroes simply be good people with other people, she does not do more evil deeds, she is one of the good guys.

    • You are obvious passionate about her. But the base of an article still needs to have heroic deeds and scenarios to talk about, even if it is just for one episode. Giving someone a compliment that one time won't be enough for that. It has been a while since I have seen all the episodes with her, but if you can find one where she preforms a fully heroic deed - as in she did something that required real effort, helped someone other than herself at a time where they needed her or defeated a serious threat - then she can go up. Remember you'll actually need to write about it though.

It really is just about the article being able to carry enough information for her to be shown as a heroine on it's face.

    • But she is no longer a villain.

    • Great. Neither are the Katsy, Birdie or Prisma. That doesn't make them heroes. Being reformed is not the same as being a hero. You still need to do things that involve heroics. Risk your life or well being for something. Give someone somethng they truely need. It is why we all aren't automaticly all heroes.

    • You may well be able to find something Negal has done. Look over your favorite episodes with her and see if you can find a time when she went that extra mile.

    • Ok, I understand.

    • I have an idea: I create Lindsey Naegle like an anti-hero, describing her actions like that of an anti-hero, in fact she is anti-hero with good qualities.

    • You still need basic deeds that support the protagonists in some way. If you can find an episode where she does in fact intentionally aid the main characters you may add her even if it is selfish reasons, but those deeds still need to exist to put the spin on it in the first place.
