Thunder is the deuteragonist of the DreamWorks TV series, Dragons: The Nine Realms. He is the descendant of Toothless and the Light Fury.

Biography[]

There was a Night Light Dragon Tom Kullersen befriended him and named him Thunder and they both went to the Hidden World. Later as he is about to go beneath again, Jun Wong also discovered dragons in the Hidden World. She later fell into the cave below and met a two-headed dragon. They helped each other escape. She named them Wu and Wei and had a dragon, just like Tom. Later, they met an injured Gembreaker. D'Angelo Baker is there to help. He treated the dragon and she is well. They defeated the bully Gembreakers that injured her earlier, and D'Angelo named her Plowhorn, having a dragon as well. In Alex's hut, there is an invisible dragon. When she sees her with normal colors, she befriends her and named her Feathers, being her own dragon. The land has constant earthquakes and the riders discovered that what was responsible was a large dragon, the Fault Ripper. Tom later called his dragon and not just his, but other dragons came. The riders and their dragons fight the Fault Ripper. Feathers did a sonic blast and that is the Fault ripper's weakness and she defeated it.

Appearance[]

Thunder is a slender, male Night Light who bears a strong resemblance to his ancestor: Toothless, having the stature of a Night Fury and the pure white scales of a Light Fury, running from his lower jaw to the tip of his tail. He has a series of large triangular spines lining down his back to his tail and retractable teeth, similar to Toothless. He also has piercing blue eyes, similar to the Light Fury he is descended from. However, unlike Night Furies, Light Furies, and the three Night Lights, Thunder doesn't possess a dual tailfin. Instead, he possesses a three-pronged "tail spade" in the shape of a Trident, with an additional dorsal fin on it that can be tucked in when not in use. He also has toe pads on his feet, similar to dogs and cats.

Personality[]

Thunder is a friendly type. He was able to hang out with Tom. Just like his ancestor Toothless he is shown to be protective towards Tom and does not back down from a fight. He's also willing to risk his life just to protect and save his companions.
