Tikki is a major character in the 2023 musical animated super-heroes and romance movie Ladybug & Cat Noir: The Movie, the adaptation of the animated series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.
Like her original self, she is the kwami of creation, connected to the Ladybug Miraculous to grant her powers to those she chooses to defend the world from threats. Her current chosen wielder is Marinette Dupain-Cheng, whom she transforms into Ladybug, serving as her friend and mentor.
Like her TV series namesake, she was voiced by Marie Nonenmacher in the original French audio and by Mela Lee in English.
Appearance[]
Tikki's movie version appearance is nearly identical to her TV version except she has another form allowing her to transform into an actual ladybug. Also, unlike her canon counterpart, she has fingers and toes. She also has a bright-red aura around her.
Personality[]
Compared to her counterpart in the original series, Tikki's personality differs in the way that she isn't completely obedient with her guardian's orders, as she flew away from him the second Master Fu opened the box in order to find an holder of her own choosing, instead of waiting for more ordens of Fu. She is also very excitable and curious, as she was seen excited about humankind having discovered electricity and how women were now allowed to wear pants. Her attitude also borders a little pushy as she injected herself into Marinette without her owner's permission to transform her.
When she calms down from her hype and curiosity, Tikki can be patient and compelling as she gave Marinette the space to sort out her issues and didn't come to her owner until she was ready.
Abilities[]
Tikki can fly and levitate. She also possesses superhuman strength despite being smaller than Marinette she was able to pull Marinette just by her finger to a mirror effortlessly.
Tikki is connected to the Ladybug Miraculous, and can transform her Miraculous'swielder into a ladybug-themed superhero or supervillain and grant them the power of creation, which requires the wielder to say the following transformation phrase: "Tikki, spots on!". However, Tikki can either force a transformation or de-transformation her holder at will (possibly if her holder doesn't give any orders against it). Tikki is also able to control her jewel, being able to levitate it while being inside it, as seen when she and Plagg set out to seek their holders once Master Fu opened the Miracle Box. But she can also transform into her connected Miraculous and visa versa.
She is also a shapeshifter, being capable of taking the form of a ladybug.
