Modern Tina
Tina is the main and titular character of Tina's Pals, comic series based on Monica's Gang franchise.
Tina is a teen taking on average 16-18 years. Sometimes mature, and others too childish she is a girl who cares about their studies and their future, but often scratches time to flirt with the boys in the neighborhood without success. Almost always with a different boyfriend every story, but always breaks courtships to realize the perceived unfairness or stupidity of everyone she dates.
She has a best friend to Puff, a chubby, whiny, moody and gossip girl that is always fighting with her "beloved" boyfriend Steve. Another of his childhood friends is the Curly, a young clumsy as Tina that failing lives in dating, although almost always be the fault of his own stupidity. When at home is almost always tormented by his brother Toneco and receives advice from her grandmother Vovoca.
Contrary to the numerous characters of Monica's Gang universe, Tina joins his friends frequently changing visual adapting each year with the fandom of today's teenagers. When created in the 70s she was a hippie and troubled teen with nature. With the passing of the years she has been evolving and getting increasingly realistic traits as until now.
She and Curly also do crossovers with the protagonists Monica, Jimmy Five, Smudge and Maggy.
