Tinkles (originally known as the Puppy, and also known by his human disguise Bob) is a supporting character in the Hotel Transylvania franchise.
He is the giant pet puppy of not only Dennis, but also the rest of the Dracula-Loughran family who's often joyous, especially whenever he's around others.
He is voiced by Joe Whyte from Puppy! and the third film, and Derek Drymon from Monster Pets and the fourth film.
Appearance[]
He is a giant black puppy who wears a red collar. His transformed appearance in the fourth film looks pretty similar to his normal one, only that he became much smaller.
Personality[]
Tinkles can be best summarized as a playful, affectionate, and overall loving puppy who jumps a lot when he's excited. He's also easily obedient when bribed with meat.

Puppy![]
Tinkles was obtained by Count Dracula when Mavis and Johnny think that Dennis having a pet is too much of a responsibility. He does cause some trouble for Count Dracula.
Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation[]
Dennis sneaks Tinkles on the vacation that Mavis plans for Dracula.
After Dracula and Mavis are caught in the Kraken's tentacles, and begins to violently suffocate Dracula, Ericka couldn't bear to watch Drac get hurt, so Ericka jumps off the DJ booth, (Much to Abraham's shock, and surprise) and jumps onto Tinkles, and using her martial art skills, kicks the Kraken in the eye, making the large sea creature growl in pain, as Ericka watched a seemingly lifeless Drac, fall from the sky. Ericka jumps off the massive Tinkles. A month later, back at Hotel Transylvania, Drac asked Ericka to marry him.
After stammering nervously, Dracula, Mavis, Johnny, Dennis, Tinkles and all the other monsters, were waiting eagerly for Ericka's answer, then Ericka blurts out happily: "YES!". While the monsters cheered, as Drac and Ericka share a romantic hug, while Tinkles chase after them.
Monster Pets[]
In this second short film, Tinkles desires to have an animal companion of his own to play with besides Dennis, which was provided by Count Dracula. Out of all the provided animals, he eventually got an Egyptian-themed feline named Toots as his best animal friend.
Hotel Transylvania: Transformania[]
In the fourth and final film, Tinkles got transformed into a regular canine (in the human's perspective, at least) after being affected by Abraham Van Helsing's transformation machine, which also makes the canine himseld resemble the likes of breeds such as bulldogs, pugs, and rottweilers.
