The Titans (巨神/Kyoshin. Lit. "giant deity") are the secondary antagonists of Sonic Frontiers.
They are colossal robots from the Starfall Islands, far stronger and larger than even Guardians and allegedly responsible for keeping Sonic's friends trapped in Cyber Space. They are mainly metallic in color, covered in black, white and gray, and with bright red lights, some resembling eyes, all over their bodies.
Biography[]
The Titans are enormous robotic entities found on the Starfall islands that Sonic is unable to fight against normally, their power being just that great. Sonic has to collect the seven Chaos Emeralds to assume his Super form and fight them on even footing.
In order, they are Giganto, Wyvern, Knight, and Supreme. The Titans were piloted by Dragon, Snake, Tiger, and Crane.
Abilities[]
The Titans are huge, strong enough to withstand Super Sonic's blows to a degree, able to move with agility that shouldn't be possible for their size, and can knock Super Sonic back with ease while unleashing all manner of retaliation.

Past[]
The Titans were created by the Ancients, by an order from Master King, to fight back against THE END if it came to the Earth. One day, Crane informed the Elder about THE END manages to find them at the Earth. Crane showed the power of Chaos Emeralds can be harnessed to empowered the Titans to fight back against THE END. The Elder proposed should the plan is fails, a small group would take the chaos emeralds to the master emerald.
The Titan pilots were fighting back against THE END, but due to its incorporeality, their attacks were ineffective. Crane, Supreme's pilot had no choice but to sacrifice himself to seal THE END inside Supreme at cost of his life, much to the horror of his fellow comrades, like Dragon, Giganto's pilot & Snake, Wyvern's pilot. Tiger, Knight's pilot persuade Dragon and Snake to seal the THE END within the Supreme into the Cyberspace in order not to let Crane's sacrifice is in vain. Despite their efforts, The Titan Pilots were doomed to fail and extinct alongside the other ancients.

Despite being sealed within, THE END manages to influence the outside world by guiding Sonic the Hedgehog with a voice into "tear down the walls between dimensions" to free his friends & Knuckles and Sage to hinder Sonic's effort. After Sonic defeats three out of four titans, THE END guides Sonic into "silence the six towers" in Rhea Island. After the six towers were shut down, THE END announces its freedom to continue destroying countless planets and stars, as Sonic succumbed to the cyber corruption. Sonic's friends have to sacrifice their physical forms to restore sonic, while Eggman begrudgingly have to cooperates with Sonic once more, as previously pleaded by Sage before. Sonic, Sage, & Dr. Eggman went into the Ouranos Island to find the seven chaos emeralds, to fend off THE END, inside Supreme.

- All four titans (Along with the Guardian Minibosses) pays the homage of Evangelion anime.
- Giganto mimics EVA-01 grabbing Kaoru when it grabs Sonic.
- Knight is literally based on Evangelion Provisional Unit 05.
