The Toa Inika are the major heroes that appeared in the BIONICLE series and also served as the main protagonists in the both the Voya Nui arc and Mahri Nui arc. They are the team of Toa who were the chosen Matoran who were transformed by the Red Star lightning and were tasked of finding the Kanohi Ignika and save Mata Nui's life. They were also led by Jaller.
Later when they traveled into Mahri Nui, the mutagen of the water immediately changed them into the Toa Mahri.
After being informed by TuragaNokama of the disappearance of the Toa Mata during their mission in Voya Nui, Jaller immediately formed his team, which were consisted of Hahli, Kongu, Hewkii, Nuparu and Matoro and set for Voya Nui to find the Toa Mata. When Takanuva attempt to accompany them in their quest, he was informed by Nokama that there was an passageway that can absorb all lights and sounds
