Role in the film[]
All the Toads (except for Toad) have very small roles in the film. However, Princess Peach mentioned that they found her when she first arrived on Mushroom Kingdom when she was a baby and took her as their adoptive daughter. In the pictures of the movie, they are also shown to be raising Princess Peach, teaching her new skills, training her, and helping her become the ruler of the kingdom, thanks to their general.
In the present day, all the Toads in their town, at the Heights are busstling with fun and buisness, although they have no idea, who Mario is and where he came from, since one of them was bringing him to Peach's castle, when he found out that his brother Luigi is lost in the Dark Lands.
As Mario and Toad reach Peach's Castle, two Toad guards outside the door refuse to let them in, Toad distracts them using his frying pan to let Mario sneak in guards inside the castle. Unfortunately for Mario, other Toad guards saw him and tried to arrest Mario for trespassing the castle, who was looking for the princess herself to talk to, but Peach however, recognized him as human, and not a monster, falling madly in love with him, because chasing and arresting him was a mistake. Mario explained to them and the princess about the emergency. Peach said that's it's only a matter of time until Bowser captured Luigi, but Mario's in luck; she's already on his way to stop him, and she decided to train him in the Training Course, before she decides to take Mario with her or not.
After Peach decided to Take Mario with her to the Jungle Kingdom, after a couple of tries, until he almost made it to the goal flag pole, she reminded to Toads that everyone will stop Bowser at all costs, with the Kong Army's help. But when she returned with the army captured, they were forced to evacuate the whole kingdom. With the Mushroom Kingdom and Brooklyn, New York City, the Toads returned home, and built a new house for the Super Mario Brothers.
Physical Appearances[]
They all look exactly like Toad, but instead of having just red dots on their heads, and a blue shirt, each Toad has a different color, the colors of their heads that were in the movie were red, green, blue, yellow, and purple, by sharing the same color of each of their shirts.
