Past[]
Mr. Ree originally was hired by the government to make T.E.R.D.S (Toilet Eliminator of Really Dangerous Stuff) in the late 1990s. However, during the first official test flush, the handle got stuck, resulting in a massive flood that injured and possibly killed many. They were shut down, and Mr. Ree abandoned T.E.R.D.S in his past.
Story[]
In The Terrifying Perilous Misfortune of the T.P. Mummy, he becomes a janitor at Jerome Horwitz Elementary School. With George and Harold's help, he gets the courage to use T.E.R.D.S. to defeat the T.P. Mummy. He later appears to have a crush on Ms. Yewh and they go out on a date together at the end, much to Mr. Krupp's dismay.
In The Shadowy Syndrome of the Sinister Splotch, the titular villain takes control of his mind and body and uses his skills of invention to create bed of roses and a dryer sheet that allows him to control all robes, along with the wearer's said robes. He then begins committing crimes while posing as Captain Underpants in order to frame and get rid of him. Luckily, George, Harold, and Captain Underpants manage to defeat the villain near the end, saving him.

Mr. Ree swiftly evading Lavatore's blasts, successfully outrunning him.
In The Cunning Combat of the Covert Camoflush, Mr. Ree reveals to have a brother named Lavator who used to work alongside him as a fellow researcher after the tragedy at T.E.R.D.S. After a paintball game goes wrong, their instructor Major Messy goes berserk and turns into Camoflush, and Mr. Ree helps George, Harold and Erica knock his brother back into his senses. He accomplishes this by scaring his brother straight to make him realize why it's important to have rules and order, as the former takes the latter on a joyride with a near-empty jetpack and letting them free fall.
In The Polarizing Plight of the Pitiless Poopetrators, George and Harold request Mr. Ree to become the Bathroom Hero: Colonel Urinal for a talent show and he was all too willing to accept. He doesn't get superpowers from the costume, but that doesn't stop him from holding his ground when Melvin creates super villains to ruin the talent show and also stoping Melvin’s plans for Melvindication.
In The Heartbreaking Havoc of the Haunting Hack-A-Ween, he makes a brief appearance and helps George and Harold with Hack-A-Ween, despite having previously supported Mr. Krupp and Melvin's Hall-No-Ween movement.
He makes some cameos in The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants IN SPACE!.
Appearance[]
Mr. Ree is an middle-aged man who has a body size that is similar to his equally heavyset colleagues. He also has fair skin complexion, a five o'clock shadow and a short brown hair with gray sideburns. Mr. Ree also wears dark blue janitor clothes with white T-shirt underneath and with green washcloth.
Personality[]
Mr. Ree is one of the most stoic characters on the show who has a whole career and identity dedicated to toilet humor. He intends to maintain plumbing for the Jerome Horwitz High School, and quite knowledgeable when it comes to advanced technology. On the plus side, Mr. Ree is definitely nicer compared to his coworkers, as he helps/saves George and Harold in his episode debut.
