Toki Asuma (飛鳥馬トキ in Japanese) is one of the characters in the 2021 roleplay game Blue Archive who studies in Millennium Science School and wields an Assault Rifle. She is the secret fifth member of Cleaning&Clearing (C&C), a group of maids under the command of Seminar, the student council of Millennium. Toki acts as the personal bodyguard of Rio Tsukatsuki, the student council president, hence why her presence was mostly unknown. Unfortunately, the president vanished into thin air, leaving Toki with nothing to do but to return to C&C.
She was voiced by Yui Ishikawa in Japanese, Su Xun in Chinese, and Kim Yeonwoo in Korean.
When Toki first appeared in the story, which was during the second chapter of the second volume of the main story, "Clockwork Flower Pavane", she played as the supporting antagonist since she was working under Rio's command, the main antagonist of that chapter. However, Toki was Rio's biggest trump card, so when Toki was defeated by the conjoined forces of nearly every known student in Millennium with the help of the Sensei of Schale, the main character of Blue Archive, Rio was forced to surrender. After Rio's disappearance, Toki was accepted by the other C&C members and became a supporting protagonist for the second and third chapter of the final volume, "Where All Miracles Begin".
Personality[]
At first glance, Toki can be approached as an emotionless person. As Rio's personal bodyguard, she is expected to be serious and alert at all times due to Rio's habit of calculating every outcome. It's also revealed that Toki's emotionless behavior stems from being isolated from other people under Rio's orders. Since Rio expects that everyone around her will betray her one day, she will not risk the chance of losing Toki, which causes more problems for Toki. With the addition of Rio's disappearance, Toki felt the need to prove her worth by being useful to others, such as the other C&C members. Although Toki has been proven to be capable of getting a hold of the situation quickly, she tends to bask in her own pride during inappropriate times.

Abi-Eshuh[]
Introduction[]
Unlike the other members of C&C, Toki possesses three different "modes" for combat, a privilege earned from working under Rio. Her first is her original maid uniform, or "Mode 1". Her second is "Mode 2" which is similar to her original uniform but with her sleeves ripped and her skirt shortened, providing her with insane agility. Her third mode is a large exoskeleton named "Abi-Eshuh" (アビ・エシェフ in Japanese). The exoskeleton was made by Rio exclusively for Toki with the purpose of preparing for the world's end. Abi-Eshuh is equipped with six GAU-17/A "miniguns" (three on each arm) and two energy cannons mounted on its back which can be used to fire energy beams. The exoskeleton also utilizes the entire electrical grid and processing power of Eridu, a stronghold city also made by Rio, to provide the ability to prevent any damage by dodging or eliminating any and all incoming bullets.
The exoskeleton also has its fair share of downsides, one being its inability to fly. Abi-Eshuh was made for ground warfare only. Its ability to eliminate incoming bullets is also limited by the amount of processing power Eridu has, which isn't sufficient if the exoskeleton were to be heavily affected by gravity, be it when the exoskeleton is rising in altitude at high speeds or falling in mid-air. After Rio's disappearance, Abi-Eshuh was later modified, allowing it to work outside of Eridu although some of its former capabilities were downgraded.
Bunny Girl[]
Introduction[]

~ Toki
For some reason, Toki seems elated to be wearing a bunny girl outfit. She likes bunnies and wants to be one too, even saying "pyon, pyon" occasionally to imitate a bunny. The outfit was worn during one of the side events, "Where Aesthetics Reside in the Mansion of Deception", as her undercover outfit for a secret mission. Although she stood out a lot, she wasn't recognized by anyone, which allowed her to "stay hidden." Even after the mission ended, she would frequently go around wearing the bunny girl outfit, not caring about all the eyes looking at her.
