Tomoo Taniguchi is the main protagonist of the Tetsuo films. He is the the brother of Yatsu. His cat was killed as metal in the original films
History[]
A few years after his birth, he and his brother Yatsu saw their father fuse a cat with a kettle while the former was whining to its demise. The boys threatened to stop this from happening, but their father turns them into cyborgs while gleefully laughing at their anguish and suffering. After this, Tomoo and Yatsu's father makes them attempt to use finger guns at a dog, which the former refuses to do. Luckily, Tomoo's father releases him while brainwashing his other son, Yatsu, into becoming a cold-blooded killer and continue the former's legacy.
