Tony Parsons is Lucien's best friend and one of the last members of the Swamp Folk Race, who used to live on the Swamp of what is now Soap City.
He is voiced by Terry Klassen
Background[]
Tony Parsons is currently the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Parsons. Tony has escaped many of the harmful fumes and chemicals the pollute the airs of Soap City. One day Tony met with Lucien Cramp (a descendant of his father's best friend) and they have been friends ever since.
Apperance[]
Tony is very short in stature, which begs to question his age. He wears a brown sweater and bage pants, his hair appears to be just growing in and he is smaller and weaker than a baby.
Personality[]
Tony Parsens, a resident of Soap City, is a kid unlike many others in his town. While most of his fellow citizens can easily be described as immoral and selfish, Tony stands out with his kind and caring nature. Being raised in the swamp, Tony holds onto old school traditions and values, particularly those of the Swamp Folk Heritage. However, he is also open-minded and fascinated by the ways of the Soap Folk, even though they may clash with his beliefs. Tony is a firm believer in the supernatural, unlike his friend Lucien who has a more scientific approach to life. This difference in ideologies has caused some tension between them, but they always manage to remain friends in the end.
Age[]
Tony's age has been questioned many times though the course of the series. Tony appears to be very youthful, he only has three hairs, is small enough to be launched from a slingshot, sit on Lucien's shoulder, and being the youngest of the Parsons’ children suggest that he is younger than Lucien and seems to be an infant, however the fact that he can talk and was put into Lucien's grade suggest that he is older than he looks.
One possibility is that Swamp Folk age slower but learn at the same pace as Soap Folk or that the opposite may be the case as they learn fast and age at the same pace as the Soap Folks. Another possibility is that he is younger than others and that he was put in the wrong grade by mistake. It is also simply possible that Tony is simply small for his age (incredibly small, and still has taller and older siblings), and will grow larger.
It is likely he will age slowly as is the case with his father, who was a small boy identical to Tony during the days of the wild west, yet only now appears to be middle aged and in excellent shape.
A final possibility is a combination of some of the above, as it could be that Swamp folk learn at an incredibly fast rate and still age at a relatively slow pace which would account for Tony's size, age and intellect.
