Torino Kazami is a village caretaker who welcomes girls who have nowhere to go at a section of the "Mermaid" island. She has outstanding proportions and is adored by the village girls due to her generous and affectionate nature. She sensitively claims to be 17 years old when a topic about age comes up but truthfully, her real age is unknown.
She is voiced by Kikuko Inoue in the Japanese version of the anime, and by Cynthia Cranz in the English version of the anime.
Background[]
Torino is one of the first people transferred to Mermaid. She created an inn on the island that would take in girls who are humble to be accepted into veste. It is later revealed that she is the watcher of the island.
Personality[]
As of episode 3 Torino is the only authority figure that isn't out to get Mirei and Mamori and is actually on their side. In fact, she is well aware of Akira's true gender, and is keeping mum about it and the "watcher" from the UN keeping an eye on the island and its inhabitants.

Atelier (Fr. "studio") Torino is the name of an inn for those who do not like the way Welter operates in Feste. Meifon is one of its suppliers. She is the watcher of the island.
