Touya Mochizuki is the main protagonist of the In Another World with My Smartphone franchise.
He is a 15-year-old Japanese boy who was killed by the God which was an accident. He was revived into another world that has magic as a forgiveness by the God.
He is voiced by Katsumi Fukuhara in Japanese and by Jessie James Grelle in the first season's English version who also voiced a lot of characters like Fumikage Tokoyami in My Hero Academia, Yuuri Katsuki in Yuri on Ice, Masamune Makabe in Masamune's Revenge, Issei Hyoudou in High School D×D, Sadao Maō in The Devil is a Part-Timer, Shido Itsuka in Date A Live, and Armin Arlert in Attack on Titan. In the second season he is voiced by Bryson Baugus, who voiced Nishikata in some episodes of Teasing Master Takagi-san's second season and movie, Bell Cranel in DanMachi, Yuga Ohdo in Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS, and Shōyō Hinata in Haikyū!.
Biology[]
Touya Mochizuki is a 15-years old Japanese high school student. He was accidentally killed by the God. The God sincerely apologized to Touya for his accidentally murder on him. But Touya forgave him. The God planning to revive him but he cannot do that at his home world due to the rules. He will be revived into a new world that has magic, which he respectifully accepted.
Personality[]
Touya has a benevolent personality, as shown when he forgave the god for accidentally killing him. In fact, he even develops a family-like relationship with him. He also is quite heroic, as shown when he helped Elze and Linze from being defrauded and will help people without payment. His chivalry has earned him the love of all his wives.
However, he does have a sadistic side, like torturing two of his contracted beast with the spell [slip] and torturing a demon by trapping him in airtight box with a smelly dead slime while at the same time using the [Slip] Spell on him. Touya only becomes aware of his sadism when his anger is pushed to its limits; in this regard, he becomes precise and brutal with punishment. He shot a depraved and devious prince in all his limbs until he passed out and healed him so he could be sentenced fully healthy. Another time, Touya fed an unrepentant undead king's head to a summoned beast that ate necrotic flesh.
Touya notes himself to have a healthy libidic interest in girls his age, though he starts out as a closet pervert, only letting innocent admittance of him finding his wives cute slip out.

- Unarmed combat: Touya can employ punches, kicks, and throws at some level. His grandfather taught him.
- Swordsmanship: He can use swords to take down enemies. His swordsmanship ability is quite formidable as he can withstand and even scratch Moroha Mochizuki a few times. However, according to himself, his swordplay technique is inferior to Yae's swordplay.
- Marksmanship: He is skilled in the use of long-range weaponry, most notably with Brunhild, and has exceptionally good aim with it.
- Piano playing: Touya was taught in his youth to play piano and knows many antiquated songs from Earth.

Divinity Due to the World God blundering, Touya had his body and soul rebuilt after his death with material from the Divine Realm. Thus he is slowly becoming a god in his own right. He can channel his Divinity as an Aura around his body or enhance objects and people with it. This Divinity allows him to survive harsh environments and move between worlds with merely a whim. Touya himself will cease aging at some point. Bonus is that his wives are counted as his dependants as a god; so they benefit from his Divinity as well, granting them immortality and the right to be with him even in the Divine Realm.

- White Coat (This coat makes you resists magic that's from your affinities which you posses (e.g. A fire magic user wearing this coat would resists fire magic) however it doubles the damage of affinities you don't have)

Trivia[]
- Touya is married to nine women; in the future he is confirmed to had a child with each one. Though in the present, he is a bit afraid that a few may want a second child; since it would be hard enough to raise nine children.
- He gets along best with his wife Linze, who is the most gentle and calm. Secondly would be Yumina, who can see his sincerity with her magic eye.
- Seven of his wives are human; the other two are a fairy and a demonkin.
- Touya found out by the 24th light novel that any Null spell he's ever used can be inherited by his children; though its a roulette wheel.
- Yakumo has Gate.
- Freigard has Storage and Power Rise.
- Quun has Mirage, Enchanted, Program and Modeling.
- Yoshino has Absorb and Reflect

- It took his first fiancee Yumina telling him about Linze, Elze and Yae's feelings for him to get Touya to realize just how much he was loved.

- In reverse, it hurts Touya that his fiancees lack any trust in his ability to be faithful to them.
- The Wedding Arc revealed what impact Touya's divinity would have on his family.
- His wives are his dependants as a god. They will cease aging and become immortal, allowing them to be together for eternity.
- Touya's children will be born demigods; with lifespans twice as long as their mother's species.
- Quun, his daughter with Leen, would live likely a millennia due to fairies already being able to live hundreds of years.
- According to the World God, Touya can live with mortals for two centuries before having enough experience as a god to move to the divine realm to oversee it.
- He plans to disappear with his wives to the Babylon castle in the sky around when they should be middle-aged; hiding their immortality, and allowing his son to become ruler.
- Fans joke that Touya may end up with the title as God of Polygamy.
- By the 19th light novel, Touya's inner monologue starts getting more bitter with swears; though he never says these things outloud unless he's severely provoked. Dealing with corrupt rulers and nobility, useless gods mooching off him, the Babylon androids, and his wives' various insecurities that result in him getting punishment for no good reason; all of which in under two years is more than enough to have impacted him negatively.
