Tracey McBean is the titular main protagonist of the Australian animated children's television series of the same name, based on the novel Tracey McBean and the Stretching Machine.
She was voiced by Roslyn Oades.

Overview[]
Tracey is a nine-year-old girl who goes to school with her best friend Shamus. She enjoys making inventions that she uses for anything, such as school competitions or simply for fun. She is rivals with the McConnolly brothers who go to her school. She is also rivals with Laszlo, a boy science club member. Her younger sister, Megan, is often shown to annoy her, which she builds inventions to stop this annoyance. In most episodes, Tracey is shown to invent a device to help her family or friends, but this would lead to minor problems. For inventing, Tracey uses a caravan in her backyard with an antenna and a computer.

Tracey is shown to be knowledgable in science. She likes helping out her family and friends with her inventions, even if they can annoy her at times.

- Some people consider her show to be a ripoff of Dexter's Laboratory as they also involve the protagonist making scientific inventions and have them sabotaged by their enemies/rivals.
