Trey of Triforia is a Triforian from the planet Triforia, the original Gold Ranger of the Zeo Rangers, a major protagonist in Power Rangers Zeo and a minor protagonist in Power Rangers In Space.
Whilst unmorphed, he is played by triplet actors Ted, Tom and Tim DiFilipoo and voiced whilst morphed by Brad Hawkins who also played Ryan Steele in VR Troopers.

Past[]
Although appearing as three beings, Trey of Triforia is really a single being. Born on the planet Triforia, Triforians are born as three persons with each representing a different significant facet of the Triforian's personality; in Trey's case Wisdom, Courage and Heart. At some point prior to 1996, they found the Gold Ranger powers which formed them into a single being although demorphing would cause them to split back into the three Treys and lose their powers. With their newfound powers, they became intergalactic
Zeo[]
In 1996, Pyramidas crash lands on Earth which interrupts a fight between the Zeo Rangers and Wolfbane but King Mondo becomes interested in gaining the new power. After destroying Wolfbane for the Rangers, Trey helps them in several more battles without revealing his identity which leads to speculation over his identity from everyone from Billy Cranston to Tommy Oliver's brother David Trueheart. Eventually, after a battle against the Varox bounty hunter Borax, Trey and Pyramidas are shot down by the Varox over Aquitar which results in them splitting into three beings and being unable to use their powers.
Whilst they try to find a way to become one agan, Trey tries it on Billy but it is impossible because, when the Command Center was destroyed, he absorbed a major amount of negative proton molecules which repel the Gold Ranger powers. To keep the Gold Ranger powers from King Mondo, they instead grant their powers to newly returned former Red Ranger Jason Lee Scott before returning to Triforia to continue their research. After the destruction of King Mondo and emergence of Louie Kaboom as the new head of the Machine Empire, Trey of Wisdom contacts the Zeo Rangers and grants them the new Warrior Wheel.
Later, after the Alien Rangers worked with the Zeo Rangers and the permanant banishment of Prince Gasket, Jason begins having crippling health problems due to the Gold Ranger powers messing with his body. Whilst the newly repaired King Mondo battles with Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd for control of the potential new powers, the Rangers perform a ritual in the Mojave Desert that allows the powers to be transferred back
In Space[]
Later the same year, the United Alliance launches a massive attack on the universe as part of Dark Specter's master plan. Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd lead an army which attacks a planet in the M-51 Galaxy and defeats Trey of Triforia who defends it. Despite putting up a good fight though, he quickly loses to the overwhelming numbers and is captured but the entire monster army is turned to dust when Zordon sacrifices himself to release a massive purifying energy wave. Due to Rita and Zedd being purified though, they dance as a bewildered Trey looks on.
Dino Thunder[]
Six years later, Trey is heavily featured in a chronicle of Power Ranger history compiled by Tommy shortly after he formed the Dino Rangers which is found by the nascent Ranger team in the Dino Lab.
Super Megaforce[]
When the Armada invade Earth after the death of the Messenger, Tommy Oliver begins assembling an army of every past Power Rangers that has ever defended Earth which includes Trey of Triforia.
After the destruction of Emperor Marvo, a massive army of X-Borgs, Bruisers and Royal Guards confront the Mega Rangers but the Ranger army arrives and they swiftly annihilate the last remnants of Marvo's Empire. After the victory, the Rangers salute the Mega Rangers and teleport away with Trey returning to Triforia.
