Tribore Menendez is a major protagonist of Final Space, serving as a supporting protagonist in Season 1, and a major protagonist in Seasons 2 and 3.
He is voiced by the series' creator, Olan Rogers who also voices Mooncake and Gary Goodspeed.
Appearance[]
Tribore has pale green skin, six eyes, pointed ears, and has a single antenna on top of his head. His tongue permanently hangs out of his mouth, thus giving Tribore a slight lisp.
In season one, whilst apart of the Infinity Guard, his uniform is white with gold rank badges. After becoming leader of the resistance, his outfit drastically changes; he wears a beige jump suit and accessorises with a red bandanna, a black gilet, brown gloves, and an orange neckerchief.
In season two, his outfit is slightly changed, with thanks to Sheryl Goodspeed. He now sports a red scarf, and a military style beret.
Personality[]
Tribore is Quinn's friend and was her liaison to the Infinity Guard. One of his prominent traits is that he will constantly ask questions and usually repeat what Quinn would say, sometimes rhetorically. Based on his behaviour and seemingly constant confusion, he is seen as less intelligent than other Infinity Guard members.
In Chapter 9, it's revealed that Tribore has become the leader of a resistance against the Lord Commander-ruled Infinity Guard. Quoted as "pure spirit" and "incorruptible."
Tribore is from species that is without sex or gender, although uses and responds to masculine pronouns. He speaks with an effeminate lisp, and has a passion for fashion - particularly articles of clothing that aren't generally considered stylish. His vanity can be exploited, as sometimes enemies use his love of fashion or appeal to his ego, thereby causing him to sabotage the plans of Team Squad, though typically the inconvenience is minor enough or easy to solve, therefore promptly solved. The team don't seem to hold grudges against him, albeit are frustrated at the moment, which perhaps reflects his strange charisma that seems to endear people to him.
Tribore's species reproduces asexually, which he himself did, and it reveals that his species mature into adulthood seconds after hatching; his absence of a childhood and parental figures sometimes gives him difficulty to understand species that have these traits. Yet in spite of this trouble, he still seems to have a gift for psychology, depending upon the situation, as he can swiftly analyse, diagnose, and offer potential solutions to a person suffering from trauma or any other psychological disorder.
