Prince Tristan Liones is a minor character in The Seven Deadly Sins, the main protagonist of the Curse of Edinburgh, and one of the two tritagonists (alongside Gawain) of Four Knights of the Apocalypse series.

He is the hybrid son of King Meliodas and Queen Elizabeth Liones, and the nephew of Margaret Liones, Veronica Liones, and Zeldris. Tristan is the prince of the Kingdom of Liones, leader of the Tristan Platoon, an honorary member of the Holy Knights, and one of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse.

Appearance[]

Tristan looks a lot like his parents. He has the same face and hairstyle as Meliodas, but his hair is silver and long like Elizabeth's. He has heterochromia, his right eye is blue like Elizabeth's and his left eye is green like Meliodas.

The 16-year-old is taller than his parents and wears a blue earring in his right ear, much like Elizabeth's.

In his appearance in The Four Knights of the Apocalypse, he wears a cyan button-up suit with a collar under similarly colored gloves, silver boots, and a breastplate with a golden emblem. Over all of this, he wears a baggy yellow button-up jacket with a thick white lining and an orange emblem, buttoned only at the top. Before leaving Liones, Tristan wears a new costume, a white shirt with turquoise edges on the ruffles on his sleeves and collar, a winged brooch, black pants, and gold on his right leg and leg. Receive armor.

When he uses the power of the Goddess, a triskelion develops in his eyes. He can then obtain goddess wings for flight.

When he uses his magic power, his eyes turn jet black, branches-like lines extend from them, and a large black spot forms a four-pointed star on his forehead. Although not used often, you can obtain devil wings for flight.

He is also shown to be able to activate both goddess and demon powers at the same time, resulting in his left eye becoming completely black and a trident appearing in his right eye. Although this is not always the case, we have noticed that he may start to get a black line over his left eye.

Personality[]

Tristan is a very gentle and tenacious boy. He does not value the role of a prince at all, preferring instead to protect his kingdom as a holy knight. He has a great sense of justice and feels the need to protect his kingdom from all threats, including the orchestrated actions of his father and the Seven Deadly Sins. Tristan then learns the story of Sin and becomes inspired to follow in his father's heroic footsteps.

After accidentally injuring Lancelot with his demonic powers, Tristan is traumatized by the event and becomes aware of his violence and its power, and in turn his association with it, and even being compared to his father for it. Instead, Tristan becomes a pacifist like his mother and enjoys being compared to his mother. He also likes to use the powers of the Goddess during combat. Still, he does not hesitate to use force if necessary.

Tristan extremely avoids using demonic powers. Without Lancelot as the only reliable person who can stop him, he is determined to use only the Goddess's power, or both the demon and the Goddess's powers at the same time, despite the disadvantages. While using only his demonic powers, Tristan loses control of himself and becomes more violent, soon losing his ability to reason and even throwing tantrums against his father.

Power & Abilities[]

As the son of Meliodas and Elizabeth, and possibly the grandson of the Supreme Deity and Demon King, Tristan possessed above-average fighting skills, both barehanded and with a sword, since the age of ten. Even Gowther realizes that he has incredible power levels for a boy his age.

Even though he was only 16 years old, his fighting ability seems to have improved significantly. He is also shown to have inherited goddess powers from his mother and demon powers from his father, and they can manifest separately or simultaneously.

  • Nova: Tristan's original magical power.
  • Ark: As a descendant of a goddess, Tristan can generate and manipulate "divine light" in the form of particles that can disintegrate anything they touch. This is especially effective against demons and vampires, but has no effect on chaos magic.
  • Full Counter: Allows Tristan to reflect magical attacks used against him back to his opponent, but with more or less magical power. Initially, Tristan could only use it to return magical attacks only half their initial size. However, over the years, Tristan has learned to use a full counter just like his father.
  • Dark Power: As a descendant of demons, Tristan can manipulate demonic magic for a variety of purposes, including increasing his physical strength. However, Tristan has stated that he does not want to use it because there is a limited amount of time he can use it and using it could cause him to lose control of his actions and make it difficult to get back on track. In this state, Tristan can easily tear off parts of Melagaland's body, whereas previously his attacks and those of the other three Knights of the Apocalypse had done little to him. He was able to revolt or neutralize Melagaland's Meifu no Bansan with just his magic power.
  • Hellblaze: Tristan can also harness the flames of purgatory and project them into unquenchable black flames.
  • Dark Snow: Tristan generates and disperses countless compressed dark particles before firing them at his opponents.
  • Annihilation: Tristan combines Shooting Star and Dark Snow, causing a chain explosion that cancels out the powers of both and erases matter regardless of magical resistance or physical durability.
  • Slash Cannon: Tristan swings his lightning sword over and over, eventually causing an explosion to attack his enemies.
  • Flight: As a descendant of a goddess, Tristan can deploy his two pairs of fantastic white feathered wings and move through the air. When he manifests demonic powers, his wings turn black.

Weapons[]

Tristan is said to have several swords. Among them are his two most favorites that he uses in dual wielding.

  • Mael: A sword with a design inspired by a goddess. It is very light to handle and has been enchanted by Thetis to make Tristan less susceptible to enemy psychic attacks.
  • Estarossa: A sword with a devilish design, very heavy to wield, and enchanted by Thetis to increase Tristan's magical defense and attack success rate.
