Tritor is a character who appears in the two-part Power Rangers Zeo episode "King for a Day". He is a half-reptilian humanoid alien warrior from the planet Horath who was abducted by Prince Gasket.

He is physically portrayed by the two-parter's co-director and long time Power Rangers and Tokusatsu fight and Stunt coordinator, director and executive producer Koichi Sakamoto, while his voice is provided by Paul St. Peter, who also voiced Kurama from Naruto and Naruto Shippuden and Worm and Leomon from Digimon.

Summary[]

Prior to Zeo, Tritor's home planet of Horath was enslaved by Prince Gasket of the Machine Empire. When Bulk and Skull accidently end up prisoners of Prince Gasket, they meet Tritor in a holding cell for gladiators of Gasket's arena. Since Gasket grabs the best warriors of planets he conquers for the arena, Tritor assumed they were great warriors. Bulk and Skull decide to put up with this incorrect assumption as Tritor convinces the pair to help him escape and free the other prisoners, including the Power Rangers. While Bulk and Skull successfully fight off the Cogs, in their own unique way, Tritor destroys both the brain washing machine that Gasket had used on Tommy Oliver and several other prisoners, and the force field generator that kept anyone from escaping and the Power Rangers from morphing.

Once their task is finished, Tritor dropped Bulk and Skull off on Earth as he headed back to a now freed Horath, promising the two that they would be made legends on his planet.

Notes[]

  • In real life, Horath is an Ortsgemeinde – a municipality belonging to a Verbandsgemeinde, a kind of collective municipality – in the Bernkastel-Wittlich district in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, while much of the alien pieces of Tritor's body were recycled from the Saliguana suit from season 2 of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.
