Ty is one of the two main protagonists (alongside his sister Maxine) in the 2025 animation sports movie Sneaks. Being a pare of sneakers, he and his sister Maxine were won in an event by Edson, a basketball loving player, and were going to be use for the basketball game he is participating in but were soon taken and stolen by an obsessed shoe collector. After both were separated during the getaway, Ty is forced tread through the city with aid of JB and other shoes across the city.
He is voiced by Anthony Mackie, who also played Sam Wilson/Falcon/Captain America in the Marvel franchise,
