UENDO is the overarching protagonist of the indie Roblox game Lost Rooms. They are a company which deals with monsters and threats from other realities for the sake of helping humanity. They are a company which is extremely experienced in dealing with cosmic threats and deadly creatures.

Background[]

Not much is known about UENDO other than that they are a corporation which is funded by the government for the sake of dealing with cosmic and deadly threats. Although given what we're told in game and the quality of the VHS tapes they show us it's likely that UENDO was founded and funded sometime during the late 1900's. UENDO was created after humanity had found out about threats lurking in other universes, according to the VHS tapes creatures at some point in time monsters and creatures were breaking into peoples homes. Because of the unexplained missing person reports there was research done and it was discovered that these people had been going missing because of these mysterious creatures. A group of scientists, engineers and law enforcement made an organization to deal with these threats, that organization being UENDO. UENDO was funded by the government and was used to establish a way to deal with these monsters.

The company got their "volunteers" from criminals who were going to be put on death row and as a result they decided to work for UENDO as a way to earn their freedom. That or the criminal could face their punishment of death instead of working for the company. The player works for UENDO as one of those criminals and hunts down the creatures which UENDO assigns them to kill.
