Ugly Sonic is a supporting character in the 2022 hybrid film Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers.
He is a parody of the original design for Sonic The Hedgehog in the live-action film of the same name. He is an actor who was originally cast as Sonic in the 2020 live-action movie before being fired because of the backlash his appearance received. He later got his own reality show in which he supports the FBI.
He was portrayed by Tim Robinson.
His appearance is almost identical to Sonic’s however he has smaller eyes and teeth along with slimmer arms and legs with a larger belly. His nose is also longer and pointier in comparison. In his convention appearance, he wears an orange jacket with sunglasses while his FBI appearance has a dark blue jacket with yellow words saying FBI.
Ugly Sonic was originally offered the role as Sonic The Hedgehog in the 2020 live-action film of the same name, however he was fired after his looks (particularly his "human teeth") generated massive backlash on the internet. His first appearance in the movie is when he is hosting his own panel at a convention in which he mentions to Dale his story and about his new reality series. The reality series in question focuses on Ugly Sonic supporting the FBI. He is later seen in the final act filming his new show while stopping Sweet Pete and saving Chip and Dale in the process.
