Ulf is a supporting protagonist in Disney's 2010 animated film, Tangled, and its follow up animated series, Tangled: The Series. He is a mime, and one of the Pub Thugs who often go hang out in the Snugly Duckling pub, and dreams to become a professional mime some day.
Biography[]
Ulf is a mime, that became a regular customer at the Snugly Duckling pub, where he would befriend other thugs. Ulf is also implied to have a criminal history, but nothing is confirmed. One day, when Princess Rapunzel entered the pub, guided by Flynn Rider, Ulf received her along with the others badly, but cheered when she started singing "I Have a Dream" along with the other ruffians, despite never talking, due to being a mime. When the guards appear, the thugs, including Ulf, back down.
Later in the castle, helping Flynn Rider to get out of prison so he can save Rapunzel, Ulf distract some guards, so one of the thugs knock them all out.
Tangled: Before Ever After, and Tangled: The Series[]
Ulf appears just sometimes, and more commonly minor appearences. He reacts poorly to Flynn Rider's plans to marry Rapunzel, while he sings ''Before Ever After". He is mentioned in "What the Hair", as the guard Pete is afraid of mimes, especially Ulf, "Happiness Is...", as a illusion the idol of Vershaftsbezeigungengien creates to make Rapunzel feel a false happiness and less homesick, and in "The Ruthless Ruth", Ulf is one f the thugs that is stuck at Snuggly Duckling because of a powerful storm, and must discover the secret of the legend of the old ghost of Ruth. He has a major role in "Painter's Block", where he is one of the citzens of Corona that was choosen by Mrs. Sugarby to attend at her painting class, and eventually was brainwashed and forced to paint a magical tree along with his classmates, that, if painted five times, would release Sugarby's leader, the evil mage, Zhan Tiri, from its otherwordly prison, but Rapunzel, with the help of Flynn and Cassandra, prevents her from doing so.

- Ulf is one of the few human characters to have no voice actor, due to being a mime, and, by extension, not talking.
- He is one of the only thugs that don't sing "I Have a Dream" along with Rapunzel in the film, due to being a mime, but cheers along with her during the song.
- While he is a member of the pub thugs, he is one of the only ones that doesn't appear to have a criminal history, along with Shorty.
- His name is never mentioned in the movie, but is sometimes in the series.
