Ultra Magnus is a major protagonist of Transformers: Robots In Disguise (2001). He is the younger brother of Optimus Prime who has a rivalry with him.
He is voiced by Kim Strauss in the Saban English dub and Takashi Matsuyama in the Japanese version, Car Robots.
Appearance[]
He has a blue and white robotic appearance with the ability to transform into a car carrier truck.
Personality[]
He shown to have a brash and arrogant personality believing he should be the one with the Matrix Leadership instead of Optimus Prime making him want to take it by force.
However despite it he will not enable the Predacons and Decepticons despite as he will lend his aid if asked instead of ordered if needed.
History[]
He and Optimus Prime were created by Alpha Trion on Cybertron long ago where Ultra Magnus got envious that he should've gotten the Matrix of Leadership instead of Optimus Prime.
He would he follow Optimus Prime and the Autobots to Earth where he would attempt to steal the Matrix of Leadership from Optimus Prime by force but would fail multiple times.
Trivia[]
- In the Japanese version, Car Robots, Ultra Magnus is dubbed God Magnus and is a separate character.
- Ultra Magnus can combine with Optimus Prime to form Omega Prime.
