Ultraman Max (ウルトラマンマックス Urutoraman Makkusu?) is an Ultra from an alternate Nebula M78 timeline that takes place some forty years after the events of the first Ultraman TV series. He is also believed to boast the fastest natural speed of any Ultra to hail from the Land of Light.
His main M78 counterpart has made several brief appearances in the Ultraman Zero film trilogy.
He is voiced by Kazuya Nakai, who is also known for voicing Xiahou Dun in the Dynasty Warriors series, Jin Sakai in Ghost of Tsushima, Masamune Date in the Sengoku BASARA series, and Roronoa Zoro in One Piece.
Bio[]
One of the fastest warriors from M78, Ultraman Max hails from an Alternate Universe of the Showa timeline in which he is the first Ultra hero to come to Earth. Having merged with Kaito Touma after saving the human from certain death against Grangon and Lagoras, he possesses abilities similar to those of Ultraman and Ultraseven. Ultraman Max has also made a few other appearances after his debut series.
Abilities[]
- Described as among the fastest Ultras in the Land of Light but has also demonstrated incredible strength to compliment it.
- As of the Galaxy Rescue Force voice dramas, Max is regarded by the Andro Defense Force as being the fastest and strongest Ultraman.
- Ultraman Max can split himself into an army of Ultraman Maxes to battle the Baltan army, but somehow he demonstrated this ability only once in the entire series.
- While all Ultras can do this, Max is unique in that he can increase his maximum size. The biggest we see him get is 900 meters, but this comes at the cost of reducing his Color Timer limit.
