FFXV Luna.png

I understand that Final Fantasy universe heroes are mostly unqualifiable for Pure Good, and I know that Noctis would fail. But when it comes to Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, there might be potentials here.

What's the work

Final Fantasy XV is a 2016 action-adventure game published by SquareEnix. The game revolves around the main protagonist, Noctis Lucis Caelum, and his friends to travel to the foreign kingdom Tenebrae to settle peace between the areas by marrying Lunafreya Nox Fleuret. The games also featured multiple twists and villainous attacks from the Nifleheim Empire.

Who is the heroine?

Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, or simply known as Luna, is one of the main character of the Final Fantasy XV universe. She was the former princess of Tenebrae who helped Noctis to fulfill his destiny.

What has she done?

First, let us take a look at the two-minutes in-game screen time.

We can see Luna herself healing an innocent person, proving that she is selfless and willing to help others. She is compassionate and supportive of Noctis. Regardless of their distances, they are always in contact with Umbra's help. Another thing is that Luna willingly takes care of others' safety before summoning Leviathan because she refuses to let others getting hurt.

Alright, before you walk away, let me introduce the Dawn of The Future novel.

When Luna got revived by Bahamut, she remained the same old Luna she was ten years ago. As she met Solara, the two were not getting along at first because of Luna's Oracle demeanor. Still, later in the novel, they both get along. And of course, she fights against the daemons, but that was an act of offense, and she only fights when necessary. Luna also risked herself to save Araena while the latter got daemonified.

Corrupting Factors?

Of course, Luna still got corrupted by Bahamut. However, it was only temporary, and she did not side herself with villainy in the end. Unlike Noct, she shows no corruption towards others.

Admirable Standard?

Luna is, of course, the only one who stands out from the protagonists due to her selfless actions. As I mentioned previously, she puts others before herself, and she shows no arrogance or wrath in the story. She may have to adapt new environment from Solara, but it never detracts from her behaviors.

Verdict?

I'll say yes. What about you?
