Hello there. Happy new year to everyone and I hope this year would be pleasant for you all and right now I have two who I think could count as a decision for this discussion. It’s personal but this will be different as it’s a spin off one instead so let’s begin right now.

What's The Work?
Persona 5 Tactica is a persona spin-off based off the fifth game. It is not known if the story is canon but it seems to be non canon. It follows the phantom thieves who are transported to a different world despite not having their meta app on their phones. This leads to all of them trying to stop the shadows from not just killing them but also helping those in need with one of them being a new character in the story.
Who Are They? What Have They Done?
Erina is the leader of the Rebel Corps in the different universe and the manifestation of Toshiro's courage in the new meta world when Salmael intends to break Toshiro in the meta world but thanks to her Toshiro's will was not broken. She does everything she can to save her people after Marie takes over her land. Witnessing the phantom thieves being brutally brainwashed by Marie to become her servants, Erina saves Morgana and Joker from being killed making their escape before shadow Marie get's to them. She explains her intentions and introduced herself to Joker and Morgana and she plans to take down Marie for her people and the city itself. Firstly, she would save all the phantom thieves from the brainwashed with the help of Morgana and Joker due to Marie's brainwash by using the flag that would free their control. After and once she freed all phantom thieves and Toshiro out of Marie's grasp (One time Toshiro helped out when Erina was wounded when putting down a flag so good for him on saving Makoto and Yusuke), Erina would then proceed with her plan to stop Marie from her and the grasp of Toshiro. Thanks to Toshiro's help, Erina and all the phantom thieves were able to defeat Marie leading her to disappear saving her people.
Thinking it was over and attempt to go home, everyone went to the next world where Toshiro's father Yoshiki would end up tricking people into being subjected of slavery lying to them about their family and endless love if joined. Erina helped and defeated the shadow but before disappearing Yoshiki kills Toshiro's mother right in front of him blaming him for the death of her. Erina placed down the flag to let everyone know the rebellion is over from Toshiro's demands before into the next dimension.
They are now at a school where they would fight and stop the principle on Toshiro's past unaware of the true mastermind behind everything. After defeating Nakabachi, it turns out Toshiro got his memories back thanks to his shadow and the trauma he's been through and Erina got kidnapped by the shadow. When confronted, Toshiro struggles but thanks to her words Toshiro saves her making her become his persona to the awakening. They defeated his shadow and shadow Eri as the real mastermind showed himself to be Samuel who is responsible for putting Toshiro into his cognitive world.
As they go and stop Samuel for what he did, Toshiro stood up to the people who hurts him such as Marie and his father. After she and Ren defeated Samuel she bids one final goodbye to everyone before disappearing in the light as everyone goes back at the real world. Man what an awful ending to a good character in the game. But oh well. Anything to add?
Now I'll move with Toshiro side.
Toshiro Kasukabe is the son of his father Yoshiki Kasukabe who has consistently abused him after his mother died from an illness due to taking her out to see outside for the wish. He would also have an encounter with Marie where he would be in a forced marriage as Marie only cares about Toshiro's wealth then himself. His life was turning around when in high school, he would met a woman named Eri Natsuhara joining his club and with the intention to help students in the school including the intention of stopping a vice principle Ichiro Nakabachi. He has been blackmailing students which includes their secrets leaving them in fear including he adults. After tough trials, Toshiro, and Eri manages to stop him with all the student victims also stood up for all his crimes leading him to get exposed. Despite this, it all spiral downwards when Nakabachi having been harassed for too long snaps and attack Eri leading her to get run over by a train and Toshiro's hand getting bruised. This lead to Eri being crippled and Toshiro spiraling downwards worsening him.
He would then get transported into a different world thanks to Salmael where he would get captured by the shadow Marie before getting rescued by Erina and the phantom thieves while also having no memories of what happened. After some time, the phantom thieves and Erina does everything they can to take down Marie and save the city with Toshiro helping out and provided a motivational speech to Erina's people helping the team out a lot. They fought Marie once all the phantom thieves are freed from the brainwashed and gathering everything needed to take her down. When the phantom thieves started to struggle against Marie, Toshiro manages to help the team and defeat her by dropping a chandelier on her leading to her disappearing standing up to her and treating her like a puppet.
In the next dimension, everyone encountered Toshiro's father Yoshiki who subjected the people into slavery lying to them about their family and endless love if joined. He and the phantom thieves would stop Yoshiki by exposing his wrongdoings and slavery to the people in the world succeeding with many struggles such as convincing the people to stand up to themselves and not following Yoshiki. But after his defeat, Yoshiki before disappearing would shoot his cognitive mother Yuki killing her blaming his son for what happened leaving Toshiro devastated.
They were transported to another world where they are now at a school where they would fight and stop the principle on Toshiro's past unaware of the true mastermind behind everything. Toshiro keep getting traumatized and blamed for all that he done but thanks to the phantom thieves, Toshiro manages to recover from it and decided to try and face his problems. They got Erina but he was confronted by his shadow and attempts to kill Erina in front of him with the thieves being tied up. His shadow taunts him but thanks to Erina's words Toshiro manages to save her leading to him awaken his persona with Erina becoming his persona.
They defeated his shadow and shadow Eri as the real mastermind showed himself to be Samuel who is responsible for putting Toshiro into his cognitive world. As they go and stop Samuel for what he did, Toshiro stood up to himself against Marie, his father and his shadow no longer following their abuse in the real world. Once facing Samuel, he and the phantom thieves would stop him from continuing his evilness and what he did to Toshiro. Samuel was defeated as Erika disappeared front of everyone after the jobs finished going back to the real world. Toshiro now in the real world decides to go against Marie and his father and confess everything leading to them allotting in trouble for what they done. Although his chance of being president is thrown away with a bad reputation Toshiro would still help people with problems and united with zero who is crippled.
Corrupting Factors
Man what a depressing EP. Maybe this section would cheer everything up! I can't think of anything corrupting for both of them. Sure Erina has made comments but not only are most of them for comedy but I do not see this as too big as she isn't lashing out including on Toshiro. Even with that, those comments are gone as it progress the story.
Admirable Standards
Tactica is not canon to the series so I don’t believe it would be icy of a problem imo. Even with the thieves acts I do think both of them stand out of their own media, I don’t believe we should compare them to the thieves since Toshiro did not have any power and got them late in the story while Erina did not have a persona. I still think they do enough. Erina would stop Marie for her havoc across the city and her people and would make the phantom thieves stop other people such as Toshiro father and even his shadow once becoming a persons. Finally she did get the blow on Samuel so there is that. Toshiro is different as not only was he the key to defeating Marie but he also played a role on stopping his shadow from killing Erina and evens stood up for himself in the real world about his father and Marie even if it destroys his reputation.
