Who's The Candidate?

Miles Morales, also known as Spider-Man, is one of the main protagnists of the Marvel's Spider-Man game series.

He is portrayed as a teenager living in New York City and becomes a friend and ally to Peter Parker (the main Spider-Man in the game). Miles Morales’ father, Jefferson Davis, tragically dies during a mission to stop a terrorist attack orchestrated by the villain known as Mister Negative. Jefferson Davis, who is a police officer in the game, sacrifices himself to save civilians during the attack, leaving a significant impact on Miles Morales and the overall storyline.Throughout the game, players interact with Miles as he navigates his own personal challenges and eventually discovers his own superhuman abilities. Towards the end of the game, players get a glimpse of Miles gaining powers similar to Spider-Man, setting the stage for his own journey as a superhero.

In Miles Morales, he plays s a central role in the standalone game “Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales,” where he becomes the main playable character. In that time, his has two main missions: Bring Simon Krieger to justice and Stop Phin, his best friend from blowing Harlem in aim of revenge on Simon Krieger for killing her brother.

In Marvel's Spider-Man 2, He's one of the two main protaginists as he unites with Peter and MJ to stop several threats and villains mainly Sand-Man, Kraven, and Venom. He eventually makes peace with his arch-nemesis, Martin Li when the latter helps him to destroy the symbiote in Peter's body.

Admirable Standards

He stands out, as his admirability is in-line with Peter for many reasons:

  • Even before getting any powers in the first game, he helps F.E.A.S.T elders and homeless people by providing them with food, treatment, and aid. Later, he sneaks between prisoners and cameras to get the Amoxicillin, a cruical component to create the vaccine to cure all of the people who got stricken by Devil's Breath bioweapon. Furthermore, when Peter is severly injured by Doc Ock after the former's fight with latter, he, along with Silver Sable and Morgan Michaels, help Peter to recover from his wounds to stop Otto from causing any further damage to New York City and prevent him from killing Mayor Osborn
  • In his stand-alone game, when Rhino is freed from Roxxon prison, he protects Peter from Rhino and Defeats him when the former got injured. Also, when Peter informs him that he will leave New York with MJ for personal aims, he takes the full responsibility of protecting New York alone from Phin, who aimed to destroy Harlem to revenge on Simon, but Miles, in his final battle with Phin, attempts to absorb the reactor's energy to prevent it from exploding, but Phin absorbs the energy from as she's finally realized how heinous her actions had come when she sees Miles's action, and sacrifces herself, ultimatly saving Harlem residents' lives, and brining Simon Krieger (a PE) for justice.
  • In Marvel's Spider-Man 2, he defeats Sandman along with Peter to avoid more destruction to the city, and makes up with his arch-nemesis, Martin Li in order to save Peter from the symbiote's influence over him. And finally he reunites with Peter after his riddance from the symbiote and work together to defeat Venom, a Pure Evil who aimed to turn all of humanity into symbiotes. And with the help from Peter and MJ, thay finally managed to defeat him once and for all, making his admirable standard very high.

Corrupting Factors

Particularly none, but before his alliance with Li, he was a bit vengeful towards him, wanting to avenge his father's death.

When he saw Li being deported to The Raft along with Scorpion on a ship, he nearly lost his temper and wanted to attack him, only for Peter to calm him down. Later when the ship got attacked by the hunters, Li sank in the water and asked for Miles' help, Miles briefly willed to let Li sink as an act of revenge, but he shortly came to his senses and decided to help him, albeit to no avail. But it was all justified, since Martin Li was the direct reason of Miles' Father's death. This loss has left Miles affected with turmoil for over 2 years, as losing a loved one is not an easy loss to move on with.

Later, he unites with Li in order to rid Peter from the symbiote, shedding this corrupting factor completely.
