This is goodbye... for now at least
As a regular contributor and chat moderator of this site for several years, I just want everyone to know that I will be taking a break starting tomorrow. At first, I completely understood this cleanup process, but now a lot of categories that I love are set to be purged and it is simply too much, especially with my new college year having recently started. Therefore, I need to get away and think because I am overwhelmed. I have cleaned up my profile to make sure I don't get any distracting notifications. By the time I return, this will likely no longer be the wiki I have grown to like over the years. If that is indeed the case, I shall resign from my position as a chat moderator. Type sections and Similar Heroes
I have a couple of things I wish to talk about, though I don't expect to change anybody's minds. Still, I'm going to try anyway.
My first issue is the Type sections. On both this and the Villains Wiki, people have been insistent on keeping the sections short and concise. I don't get why people think this is better but I strongly disagree. Some characters are simply too complex to be defined by a couple of words, so I believe it is important to list every category that defines a character. I have taken advice and tried to group categories together in order to make things coherent, but it's pretty clear that I and other people have strongly different opinions on what coherent means. Category Changes
I've had a bit of a thought; Heroes with Dissonant Serentiy has been gotten rid of, but how about we had a similar category called Heroes with Nerves of Steel? Nerves of Steel is an actual term and it means more or less the same thing. We could simply add it to all the ones that were labeled with Dissonant Serenity.
Also, I think we should rename Magnificent Bastards and Guile Heroes to just Guile Heroes. Mangificent Bastards was deleted on the Villains Wiki so I think we should do the same here. We could have Guile Heroes as the good counterpart to Master Manipulator.

Stop deleting categories without a good reason
I have seen several categories get deleted for no reason other than they have nothing to do with heroism. This is not okay as this wiki isn't just got to do with heroes, it's got to do with the characters themsleves. Also, does Knight Templar have anything to do with heroism? Does being able to control fire or electricity have anything to do with heroism? Didn't think so.
