Who is she?[]
Karen is a journalist and the love interest of Matt Murdock. After she got in deep trouble because of Kingpin, she was helped by Matt and his best friend Foggy. After that, she becomes best friends with them and they build up a team.
Why she doesn't qualify?[]
Karen may be a very likeable character and wants to do good things for Hell's Kitchen. But there are two things why she shouldn't qualify. First, she killed Wesley, the right-hand man of Kingpin. Sure she was in great fear because she got kidnapped, but Wesley talked with her polite and didn't hurt her. And she just shot him multiple times. And in season 3, when she talks to Kingpin, she said that Wesley deserved more. Even if it was to provoke Kingpin, a Pure Good wouldn't do that. And not only that, Matt outshines her with his heroic deeds and she is pretty standard and not outstanding. Also there was a scene where she blackmailed a few criminals with a gun who said she is "hot".
