What's The Work

Sesame Street is a famous children's education television series designed and intended to educate young children about life skills, along with teaching the alphabet and counting. The series has undergone evolution throughout the years, since its debut in 1969.

Who is Segi, and What Has She done?

Segi is the main protagonist of the Sesame Street songs, "I Love My Hair", "Change the World", and "Raise Your Hand Up High". She is a positive role model.

So far, Segi stands out in the show by teaching self-esteem to children. In the song "I Love My Hair", she encourages viewers to love their hair, hence the title of the song. She does so by showing her variety of hairstyles. Later, she teaches children about the possibilities on how they could change the world when they grow up in the song "Change the World". Finally, in the song "Raise Your Hand Up High", Segi teaches viewers good manners, by informing them about the importance of raising their hand in class.

Corrupting Factors

None. She is not dishonorable, she is not a jerk, she is not arrogant or greedy. Thus, she doesn't have any corrupting qualities that I can think of.

Admirable Standard

The admirable standard for Sesame Street shouldn't be particulary high given that it's not an action show. Segi has helped and improved the behaviors of millions of viewers. Many other characters in the show have done similar heroic actions. Thus, Segi should easily be able to meet the admirable standard.

Final Verdict

Segi is a positive role model who has educated viewers on good behaviors, and lacks any corrupting qualities. Thus, I'd say that she can qualify as pure good.
