Cowardly lion.jpg

This proposal is about the Cowardly Lion from The Wizard of Oz.

Who is he/What he has done

The Cowardly Lion is an anthropomorphic wise-cracking lion from the deep forests of the Land of Oz. He is also the self-proclaimed "King of the Forest". But unlike other lions, he is a weak coward and is afraid of monsters, witches, other vicious animals and even sheep and rabbits. Because of this he is an outcast among the other animals. When Dorothy Gale and her companions come into his domain, he pretends to attack them, but they soon realize he is a coward. They take pity on him and decide to bring him with them to see the Wizard of Oz to give him courage.

Goodness Zone

On the journey, the Lion, despite being cowardly, is caring about his friends and finally proves his bravery when he helps rescue Dorothy from the villainous Wicked Witch of the West and her minions. He is also kind to other animals and people.

Corrupting Factors

Because of his cowardliness, he tries to avoid anything dangerous and scary and tries to slink away (similar to Scooby-Doo and Shaggy Rogers). He is also kind of dimwitted and sometimes is known to lose his temper.

Admirable Standards

He is shown to be truly caring for his friends and can face danger despite being afraid. He is also known to be a fighter and quite comical.

Final Verdict

I'd say he approves.
