NOTICE: This is not a nomination page about proposing a character for Pure Good, but rather a statement that I'm making based on my observations on the site for quite some time.
First off, I should confess that I'm not someone who actively contributes to either Heroes Wiki or Villains Wiki, though I do visit both sites on a frequent basis due to my general interest towards fictional media. And before anyone asks, I've been lurking on them for more than half-a-decade.
I should let you know that the nominations and proposals to suggest a character for being Pure Good are one of the reasons why I come to this site; it;s fun, interesting, and informative to see a convincing argument and reasoning for why specific characters are quantifiable to be considered Pure Good. Regardless of the outcome, I find some degree of satisfaction when it comes to how it is responded, with even the opposing comments having something that I can learn from.
However, given that it's been a long time looking at these proposals, I came to notice that there was one entertainment medium that I've never seen get a proposal; Comic Books. This was something that recently caught my attention after seeing the Pure Evil Proposal for Plasmus in Villains Wiki. It made me realize that there have been a number of proposals when it comes to Comic Book Villains in Villains Wiki, but I've never actually seen a proposal for a Comic Book Heroes in Heroes Wiki. So yeah, I wanted to bring that up because, as I said, it was something I noticed here after a year of seeing Pure Good Proposals and then wondering how come characters from a specific entertainment medium (presumably) has never seen a proposal even once.
That said, I would express some interest in seeing a contributor here who might have an interest in wanting to do Comic Book Characters for Pure Good Proposals. And to clarify on that matter, I do mean the original source material and NOT adaptations. And I am aware that Superman (DC), Captain America (Marvel), and Spider-Man (Marvel) are approved, but something tells me that they may be needing a formality post as I think they could be some of the earliest examples of Approved Good Articles in general and were automatically registered, though I may be wrong, for all I know.
Comments and feedback is most welcome.
