Peter Benjamin Parker is a high school student who gained spider-like abilities and uses them to fight crime across New York City as Spider-Man. In the six months after he received his powers, Parker juggled his superheroics with the demands of his high-school life until his idol Tony Stark enlisted him in the Avengers Civil War and pitted him briefly against Captain America.
